Reform and opening up bring happiness to the people
Nishida Satoshi
From the time I came to China to participate in a summer camp for elementary school exchanges when I was 8 years old, to a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree at Beijing Language and Culture University, my acquaintance with China has been accompanied by the glorious course of China’s reform and opening up for nearly 20 years.
Reform and opening up have brought tremendous changes to China and also brought happiness to the Chinese people. Among them, the economic cooperation between China and Japan and the friendship between the people of China and Japan are deepening. I hope the friendship between the people of China and Japan will last forever.

Cherish the opportunity to study in China
Marita
My fate with China stems from a Chinese song. When I was young, I heard a Chinese song by chance and fell in love with China and Chinese. So, when I was in college, I chose Oriental Studies.
Without reform and opening up, I would not have the opportunity to study in China. At present, many companies in Russia cooperate with Chinese companies, and Chinese companies are also welcomed by Russia. For example, Chinese companies such as Huawei and Xiaomi are very popular in Russia.

China's development is as fast as high-speed rail
Taos Year
When I came to China in 2011, I was studying Chinese in Guangzhou. Up to now, I have lived in China for nearly 8 years, and my deepest feeling is that China is developing rapidly, just as fast as the high-speed rail. In the 1980s, my father was engaged in Sino-Myanmar trade. At that time, I often heard him talk about China. He said that from the 1980s to the present, China has undergone earth-shaking changes. I am studying in Beijing now, and my feelings are especially deep. In the past year or two, WeChat and Alipay have brought great convenience to the lives of residents, and the environment in Beijing has gradually improved.

Reform and opening up has brought great changes to China
Lin Shuang
The first time I heard the term "China's reform and opening up" was when I was in high school, when I didn't know China and Chinese history. When I had the opportunity to study in China, I really walked into China, got to know China, and gained more and more understanding of China's history.
During the period of studying and living in China, I feel more and more that the reform and opening up have brought tremendous changes to China. My country, Denmark, has taken a long time to reach the current level of development, while China has made great achievements in just a few decades. From the perspective of economic development, the speed of China's development has really caught the attention of the world, and it can be described as a miracle.

Back to Benin to spread Chinese culture
Leon
When I was young, I learned about China through watching martial arts TV series. Although I don't understand Chinese, I like Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li very much. They have influenced many Beninese. We think Chinese martial arts is amazing. Later, the relationship between China and Benin got closer and closer, and it also provided a lot of assistance to Benin. Therefore, I think I should learn Chinese to understand China better. 3 years ago, I went to Beijing Language and Culture University to study. Over the years, I have seen China’s development, such as China’s WeChat and Alipay bring convenience to people’s lives. I have a dream of returning to Benin in 5 years to teach Chinese and spread Chinese culture. I hope to contribute to the friendly exchanges between China and Benin.
