75 universities announced budget of 2021

On March 25, 2021, the official website of the Ministry of Education announced the departmental budget of 2021. According to the requirements of the Ministry of Education's "Notice on Disclosure of Departmental Budgets for Universities Under the Ministry of Education", all universities directly under the Ministry of Education should publish their budgets within a certain period of time to respond to social concerns.

As of April 10, 2021, 75 universities directly under the Ministry of Education have announced their budgets of 2021 on their official information disclosure website. Sacbu has compiled the budget data released by the universities directly under the Ministry of Education, and compared it with last year's budget data, which provides a glimpse of the funding situation of key domestic universities.

Judging from the data published so far, there are 13 colleges and universities with a total budget of more than 10 billion yuan, which is 3 more than last year.

Among them, Tsinghua University has the largest annual total budget of 31.728 billion yuan; followed by Zhejiang University with a total of 22.816 billion yuan; it is worth mentioning that Peking University's budget this year exceeded the 20 billion mark, ranking third with 22.134 billion yuan.

In addition, universities with more than 10 billion yuan include Sun Yat-sen University (19.855 billion yuan), Shanghai JiaoTong University (17.565 billion yuan), Fudan University (14.162 billion yuan), Shandong University (11.808 billion yuan), Huazhong University of Science and Technology (11.633 billion yuan), Xi'an Jiaotong University (11.468 billion yuan), Southeast University (11.392 billion yuan), Tongji University (10.704 billion yuan), Wuhan University (10.644 billion yuan) and Sichuan University (10.176 billion yuan).
