Scholarship for foreign students

1. Application time:

November 01, 2020, to December 10, 2020

April 10, 2021, to May 30, 2021


2. How to apply

Please email the application materials to, and the subject of the email should indicate: Apply for BGS+ name.


3. Application materials (Chinese or English)


(2) Your passport (personal photo page);

(3) The highest degree certificate and academic transcript;

(4) Applicants for degree study or research should provide a study plan (no less than 400 words) or research plan (no less than 800 words);

(5) "Foreigner Physical Examination Record";

(6) Other supporting materials deemed necessary by the applicant, such as recommendation letters, award certificates, etc.


4. Confirm the award

The school reviews the applicant's scholarship application materials and selects the merits to award scholarship funding qualifications. Winners will be notified by email.


5. Special instructions:

(1) Applicants should first meet the admission requirements stipulated in the "2021 Beijing Foreign Studies University International Student Admissions Regulations";

(2) The majors to be applied for are related majors that our school accepts foreign students to study, and the admissions regulations and major catalogs issued by Beijing Foreign Studies University at the current period shall prevail;

(3) This scholarship is only for tuition subsidies, and the term is usually 0.5 to 1 year. Eligibility for the scholarship does not mean the qualification for admission. After obtaining the scholarship qualification, you must log in to our school's online application system to complete the online registration. The final approval will be subject to the acceptance letter received by our school. The online application website is;

(4) The application materials submitted by the applicant will not be returned regardless of whether it is approved or not, and those who are not selected will not be notified separately;

(5) The applicant is responsible for the authenticity of the materials provided. Once any falsification is discovered, the adverse consequences shall be borne by the applicant himself.
