Beijing Scholarship for Foreign Students

The "Beijing Foreign Student Scholarship" is set up by the school to encourage self-funded international students to study hard and study hard, to cultivate high-level talents with excellent character and learning.

How to apply

Foreign students applying for college, undergraduate, master, and doctoral programs of our school can apply for this scholarship. This scholarship only covers the first year's tuition, and all other expenses are at your own expense.

1. Download the "Beijing Foreign Student Scholarship Application Form (For Freshmen)" from the Beijing Language and Culture University Study Abroad website;

2. Submit the corresponding materials according to the applied course (see "Application Materials");

3. Applicants can only receive the scholarship after being reviewed and approved by the Foreign Student Scholarship Evaluation Committee, and the "Notice of Beijing Scholarship for Foreign Students" will be issued; those who do not receive it need to study on their own expense.

4. If applicants give up studying in our school, the materials and registration fee will not be refunded.

Application materials

1. Applicants for master's and doctoral programs provide the following materials:

(1) "Beijing Foreign Student Scholarship Application Form (For Freshmen)";

(2) "Application Form for Postgraduate Studying in China from Beijing Language and Culture University";

(3) Applicants for master's degree programs should provide a copy of the undergraduate graduation certificate or bachelor's degree certificate, and those for doctoral degree programs should provide a copy of the master's degree certificate. Texts in languages ​​other than Chinese or English must be attached with Chinese or English translations; fresh graduates must provide pre-graduation prove;

(4) Transcript of the highest degree course;

(6) A copy of the applicant's ordinary passport within the validity period;

(7) Copy of the valid certificate of the guarantor;

(8) Two recommendation letters from experts with the title of associate professor or above related to the major you are applying for;

(9) Study plan (including personal resume, study experience, Chinese level and statement of personal scientific research ability, future research plan, employment goals after graduation, etc... Application for a master's degree requires more than 800 words, the doctoral degree requires more than 1,500 words, written in Chinese. );

(10) Applicants for doctoral programs must provide a letter of acceptance by the supervisor;

(11) Electronic color 2-inch ID photo (named after the passport number), white background without border, 100-500kb, JPG format;

(12) The registration fee is 800 yuan (paid online).

2. Applicants for college and undergraduate courses provide the following materials:
