Foreign students get good results in Wushu Competition

On August 17-21, the 8th Xiamen International Martial Arts Competition of the "Zhonglian Yongheng Cup" 2019 was held at the Jiageng Stadium in Jimei District, Xiamen.

A total of 463 teams and 6,458 players from 33 countries and regions participated. Five foreign student-athletes from our school participated in the competition and won a total of 7 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal, and achieved excellent results.

Huang Milian, a 2018 doctoral student of the Chinese Wushu Academy, won first place in the 42-style Tai Chi sword of women's C group and the gold medal of Chen style Tai Chi. Lei Fa.

A 2017 graduate student of the School of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, won first place in Men's Group C Xingyiquan, first place in traditional swordsmanship, and a bronze medal in traditional Tai Chi.

Ma Han, a 2018 graduate student of the Chinese Wushu Academy, won first place in the men's group C self-selected knife and the self-selected Changquan gold medal.

Ma Kai, a 2018 graduate student of the Chinese Wushu Academy, won the Men's Group C self-selected single knife gold medal and self-selected Changquan silver medal.

Hao Shan, a 2018 graduate student of the Chinese Wushu Academy, won the Bronze Award for Men's C Shaolin Tiger Boxing.
