"Study History Makes Reasonable, Learning History Increases Credit" ——The "Growth Classroom" Lecture Briefing of International College

 

Recently, in conjunction with party history education and cross-cultural talent training, the International College relies on the "growth classroom" teaching platform to conduct party history education and Chinese culture-related lectures among freshmen and sophomores. What has been completed so far are: "An Introduction to Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era", "A World-breaking Event—The Birth of the Communist Party of China", etc. (Lectured by Mr. Ma Ning, Deputy Dean of the School of Marxism) and "An Overview of Traditional Chinese Thoughts and the West "Overview of Ethical Thoughts", "Comparison of Chinese and Western Ethical Thoughts", etc. (Lectured by Professor Ma Junyun, Director of Alumni School History Office).

"Growth Class" is a "Second Class" brand designed by the International College for its own student training work and student characteristics. The purpose is to implement the party's education policy, publicize and educate socialist values, and promote the improvement of students' intercultural ability. The teaching format is Diversified, combining theory with practice. The above-mentioned special lectures are one of the important contents of the theoretical teaching in the classroom. The expert teachers of the lectures have flexible teaching methods and rich content, and have received very positive responses from students. They have played a role in promoting the curriculum construction of the growth classroom and the cultivation of the cross-cultural comprehensive ability of the students of the National Academy.
