On March 4th, the Institute of International Development (International Education Institute) organized an online work meeting for the 2021 international student dissertation and new semester international student training. The National Development Institute and the deans in charge of the colleges, international graduate tutors, and international student academic affairs teachers participated.
Chen Tao, deputy dean of the National Development Institute, reported on the academic status of international students, introduced the work process and requirements of the dissertation stage of the all-English-taught program, and interpreted the new version of the international student status management regulations and the main points of the implementation rules for degree awarding. The teachers at the meeting exchanged views on related issues.
Jiang Jie, the special dean of the National Development Institute, said that although the international epidemic situation is still severe and remote teaching abroad is difficult, he will try his best to promote the graduation of fresh international students on schedule. It is hoped that the colleges and the National Development Institute will actively cooperate to organize and promote thesis opening, writing, and defense, and strive to successfully complete the related work of international students' graduation.
