The Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences was established in 1979 and was approved by the State Council in 1981 to become the first batch of doctoral and master's degree-granting units in my country.
The Education of the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences is based on 36 research institutes in 16 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) across the country.
It adheres to the school-running philosophy of "based on scientific research, quality-oriented, and prospering agriculture with science and education".
"Two-stage training" is the characteristic (the graduate school uniformly organizes enrollment, teaching and degree awarding, and the graduate school implements all-round management during the concentrated teaching period.
After the concentrated learning, follow the tutor into the research institute to carry out subject research until the graduation thesis is completed. During the period, the graduate students are mainly managed by the professional research institute, and the graduate school is responsible for the overall management.)
After more than 40 years of exploration and development, it has now formed a multi-level, multi-type, international student, such as masters, doctors, academic degrees, professional degrees, and international students an integrated talent training system. At present, there are 5559 postgraduates in the school, including 3401 masters and 2158 doctors. 16,713 were awarded doctors and masters (3449 doctors and 13,264 masters), who have made important contributions to my country's agricultural development and economic construction.
