2. Recruitment conditions

1) Non-Chinese citizens who are 18 years old and above (as of September 1, 2020) and hold a valid ordinary foreign passport;

2) For those who were originally Chinese citizens and later became foreign nationals, it will be implemented by the "Notice of the Ministry of Education on Regulating the Relevant Work of Our Colleges and Universities Accepting International Students" (Jiaowaihan [2020] No. 12);

3) Must have graduated from high school or have the same academic ability as high school, with good grades;

4) Comply with the laws and regulations of China and the school rules and regulations of Chengdu University;

5) Good health.

 

3. Application materials

1) A copy of the academic certificate of the highest degree and a notarized copy;

2) Copy of high school transcript;

3) Personal statement, including self-introduction, learning experience, learning goals, and plans in China;

4) Applicants for art and design majors need to submit at least 10 works; applicants for music and dance majors need to submit 2 works (6-10 minutes long shots); applicants for Animation majors need to submit 10 works, applicants for wide editing majors A set of film and television works (including video works and scripts) must be submitted;

5) Copy of passport;

6) Copy of medical examination form;

7) A copy of the certificate of no criminal record;

8) Recent (within three months) electronic photo (white background) of the frontal passport-free photo;

9) HSK 4 certificate obtained within two years;

10) Economic guarantee certificate issued within the last 2 months (bank deposits should be RMB 25,000 and above);

11) A copy of the transfer certificate and the current visa or residence permit (if the student holds a visa issued by another school when applying).

12) May request supplementary materials deemed necessary by other colleges, including conducting interviews.

* All the above materials must be in English or Chinese.

 

 

4. Application time

The academic year is divided into spring and autumn semesters, and the start time of each semester changes according to the time of the Chinese New Year.

Fall semester: usually at the end of August or early September to the end of December of the current year or the beginning of the second year

Spring semester: usually at the end of February or early March to mid-July

Application deadline for the 2021 spring semester: November 1, 2020, to December 15, 2020

Application deadline for the fall semester of 2021: March 1, 2021, to June 15, 2021

 

5. Application process

1) non-art majors: log in to http://admissions.cdu.edu.cn, register a personal account and apply according to the system prompts.

2) Art major: Log in to http://ccaa.cdu.mcitedu.cn/home/login/index.html, register a personal account and apply according to the system prompts.

If the application is approved, you will receive the JW202 form and admission notice after paying the registration fee as required.

Students bring the JW202 form and admission notice to the local embassy and consulate of the People's Republic of China to apply for a study visa (X1, X2 visa).
