National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival activities


On the occasion of the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, to increase the campus holiday atmosphere, bring colorful campus life to the students, and increase the mutual exchanges between the students. School held the National Day "Ode to the Motherland·Moonlighting Qingteng", Mid-Autumn Festival activities. Activities included reading clubs, board games, film screenings, gala parties, and physical drama studios, etc. The students at school participated extensively and spent an unforgettable festival together.




On the afternoon of October 1st and 3rd, the reading club was held in the cafe on the second floor of the canteen on the Changping campus. Students from all departments use books to meet friends, exchange and share their favorite books. Through the understanding and interpretation of the books, they talk about the learning, thinking, and emotional experience that reading brings to them. During the reading process, students increase their knowledge and improve their literacy. At the same time, the same issue is discussed from different perspectives of everyone, which broadens the students' thinking and vision and enjoy the joy of reading. On the afternoon of October 2, 4, and 5, board games will be held in the cafe on the second floor of the cafeteria on the Changping campus. The board game activities are limited by different themes and game rules, which fully exercise the logical thinking and expression skills of the participating students, and the process is lively and interesting. The original two board game activities were increased to three due to the active participation and enthusiasm of the students. The students stepped out of the electronic communication space, were brought closer to each other in a face-to-face manner, and improved their communicative skills.






On the evening of October 2nd, 4th, and 6th, the college held an open-air film screening event at Shawengshan Square on the Changping campus. The three films are "Eight Hundred", "My Motherland and Me" and "Captain of China". The students came to observe spontaneously. During the great festival celebrating the founding of New China, the exciting story content greatly inspired the students The patriotic enthusiasm made the students more intuitively understand the great achievements of the construction of the motherland, and encouraged the students to keep moving forward.




On the evening of October 3rd, the "Ode to the Motherland·The Bright Moon Illuminates the Ivy" gala was held at Shawengshan Square in Changping Campus. Students from all departments and grades gathered together to fully demonstrate the colorful talents of the students and the youthful spirit of the Chinese opera students. The performances include music, dance, storytelling, recitation, martial arts, and other different forms, at the same time interspersed with fun games, and the climax of the scene changes. On the night when autumn is getting stronger, the enthusiasm of the students will pass the warmth to every corner of the campus. At the end of the performance, the stage and the audience jointly sang the adaptation of our institute "I Love You China". The bright national flag was flying high, and the Chinese opera students shouted passionately: I love you, China!


On the afternoon of October 6th and 7th, the physical drama workshop was held in the Biaodao Building of Changping Campus. The workshop uses small objects that are common in life, improvised by actors in prescribed situations, and leads the audience to participate under the guidance of the actors, stimulates the creative possibilities of each participant, and gives the audience an immersive drama experience. At the same time, the performance uses the most direct body instead of language to express and gives full play to the imagination and creation of physical communication. Students from various majors collide with the spark of drama art in communication.




This series of activities brought holiday greetings to the students through different forms of presentation. It not only made the students feel the care and warmth of the college and the teachers but also enriched the campus cultural life of the students, increased the exchanges between the students, strengthened the cohesion of the students, and stimulated the enthusiasm of patriotism and love for the school, showing the youthful face of the majority of Chinese opera students working hard and making progress.
