Chinese Language Training Program Admissions Guide
Project Introduction
The Chinese Language Training Program of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications is open to international students who love the Chinese language. After enrollment, international students will study Chinese as a Chinese language student at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications on a full-time basis. The project is divided into three levels of teaching: elementary, intermediate, and advanced. Small class teaching is implemented, with about 20 students in each class, 4 class hours per day, and 20 class hours per week. Upon expiration of the study period and passing the examination, students will receive a certificate of advanced studies and a transcript.
The study period of the Chinese language program is usually one semester or one academic year. You can apply for an extension according to the situation. The maximum study period does not exceed 4 semesters. After the completion of the Chinese language study, those who meet the requirements can apply for the degree program of our school to continue their study.
Major course
Comprehensive Chinese, Chinese reading and writing, Chinese listening and speaking, Chinese writing, Overview of China, Chinese painting and calligraphy, Chinese music appreciation, Chinese music appreciation, Chinese art appreciation, Chinese martial arts, etc.
Application form :
Ø Non-Chinese citizens who are 18-45 years old, in good health, have a high school diploma and above, and hold a valid foreign passport;
Ø Language requirements: No basic Chinese language requirements. After enrolling, students will test their language, determine the level of learning based on the test results, and enter the corresponding class for learning.

Application materials:
① Passport size photo;
② The academic certificates and transcripts must be original or notarized copies in Chinese or English;
Note: Fresh graduates should provide an expected graduation certificate and proof of enrollment at the time of application. After being admitted, they must submit the academic certificate to be eligible for admission;
③ A copy of the passport, which must be a valid ordinary passport;
④ If you have been in China, you need to provide relevant records of previous stays in China, such as proof of study, work certificate, etc.;
⑤ A copy of the "Foreigner Physical Examination Form" (designated physical examination form), filled out in English. Foreigner Physical Examination Form.pdf
Applicants should strictly follow the required items in the "Physical Examination Form for Foreigners" to conduct inspections. The "Foreigner Physical Examination Form" with missing items, no photo of the person posted, or no seal on the photo, and no signature and seal of the physician or hospital, is invalid. The inspection result is valid for 6 months;

Those who pass the materials can generally receive the admission result within 7 working days.

Tuition fee: RMB 6,000/semester
Accommodation fee: Double room: about 2,100 yuan / semester; single room: about 4,800 yuan / semester
