Project Introduction

The basic study period is 4 years, complete the credits, obtain certain scientific research results, complete the doctoral dissertation, pass the thesis defense, and receive the graduation certificate and doctoral degree certificate. The study method is full-time.

How to apply

1. Application process

① Applicants log on to the International Student Online Service System of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications to apply online:https://cqupt.17gz.org/, And fill in the application form as required, upload the application materials, and submit. see how to apply Guide for Online Application.docx

② The International Student Admissions Office will review the qualifications of applicants according to the requirements;

③ Qualified materials shall be transferred to relevant professional colleges and tutors according to the research direction that students are interested in, for academic ability review, and the review list shall be determined;

④ Re-examine students to participate in interview or written test;

⑤ Determine the list of admissions and notify the admitted students by email;

⑥ The International Student Admissions Office will send the admission notice, visa application form and other materials.

2. Application materials

② The academic certificates and transcripts must be original or notarized copies in Chinese or English;
Note: Fresh graduates provide expected graduation certificate or proof of enrollment when applying. After being admitted, they must submit the academic certificate to be eligible for admission.

③ personal statement and research plan, written in Chinese or English;

④ 2 recommendation letters from professors or associate professors, written in Chinese or English

⑤ A copy of the passport, which must be a valid ordinary passport;

⑥ If you have been in China, you need to provide relevant records of previous stays in China, such as proof of study, work certificate, etc.;

⑦ A copy of "Physical Examination Form for Foreigners" (designated physical examination form), filled in English. Foreigner Physical Examination Form.pdf

Applicants should strictly follow the required items in the "Physical Examination Form for Foreigners" to conduct inspections. The "Foreigner Physical Examination Form" with missing items, no photo of the person posted, or no seal on the photo, and no signature and seal of the physician or hospital, is invalid. The inspection result is valid for 6 months; 

⑧ Proof of no criminal record

⑨ A copy of the Chinese/English Language test transcript or Chinese/English study certificate (if not available);

⑩ Other materials, such as awards, published papers, scientific research results, etc. (if not available)

Note: The tutor acceptance letter is not a necessary application material, and students do not need to provide it. After the student's application is completed, the International Student Admissions Office will directly transfer it to the corresponding college and tutor according to the student's research direction.

Cost:

Tuition fee: 30,000 RMB/year

Accommodation fee: about 4,200 yuan/year for a double room; about 9,600 yuan/year for a single room
