"Distant Cooperation and Exchange" Online Conference
On December 16, 2020, the 8th China-Russia Economic University Alliance Annual Conference and "Remote Cooperation and Exchange in the Post-epidemic Era" were held online.
Liu Jianqing, Director of the Eurasian Division of the International Department of the Ministry of Education of China, and Raspertov Yuli Valenkinovich, Deputy Director of the International Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation attended the meeting.
They represented the education of China and Russia. The competent authorities affirmed the achievements of the Sino-Russian Economic University Alliance over the years, and expect the alliance to play a greater role in promoting the cooperation and exchanges between China and Russia in economic universities.
Presidents of 16 Chinese-Russian universities including Central University of Finance and Economics, University of International Business and Economics, St. Petersburg University of Economics in Russia, and leaders of international cooperation departments attended the meeting.
Director Zhang Xiaoyan of the International Cooperation Office of our school attended the meeting on behalf of the school and gave a report entitled "Central University of Finance and Economics Epidemic Response and Remote Cooperation and Exchange in the Post-epidemic Era".
In the report, Director Zhang Xiaoyan shared our school’s measures to deal with the impact of the epidemic. For the prospect of international education cooperation in the post-epidemic era, it has issued initiatives such as alliance units to jointly build and share online cloud classrooms, and build academic exchange platforms for scholars.
The Sino-Russian Economic University Alliance was established in 2013, and our school is a founding member unit. Every year the alliance summarizes the work of the previous year in the form of an annual meeting and discusses and confirms the work steps of the new year.
Within the framework of the alliance, our school has deepened many aspects of exchanges and cooperation with Russian cooperative universities, from exchanging students to exchange studies.
Participating in summer camps, and researching Belt and Road projects, exchanging teachers to participate in academic conferences, and jointly completing academic exchange projects. A good work effect has been achieved.
