Spend the Lantern Festival together
The first month is the first month of the lunar calendar. The ancients called the night "xiao". As the first full moon night of the year, the Lantern Festival is also known as the Shangyuan Festival, Yuanxi Festival, or Lantern Festival. Since ancient times, there has been a warm and festive custom. People gather together to watch lanterns, admire the bright moon, guess lantern riddles, and enjoy the Lantern Festival.
On the morning of February 26th, 9 international students from 6 countries walked into the cultural and sports station of Dapeng Town, Tongshan District, Xuzhou City, to taste glutinous rice balls, make noodle lanterns, enjoy sachets, and celebrate the Lantern Festival with the residents of the town. As soon as they entered the Dapeng Town Cultural and Sports Station, the international students were deeply attracted by the face lamps made by the teachers themselves. They were colorful and in different shapes. The various zodiac face lamps were more vivid and drew praise from the students. Under the guidance of the teacher, he creates his own face lamp works. Later, international students also learned Chinese calligraphy and making Chinese herbal sachets, and gained a better understanding of China's extensive and profound traditional culture.
Olisa from Russia said: "This is my fifth year in China. I am very interested in Chinese traditional culture. The teachers of the International School have led us to experience various interesting projects, but every time I will Discover new fun. I love China!"
