On April 22, the licensing and work kick-off meeting of the Shanghai University Student Cultural and Creative Practice Base was held at the Shanghai Student Affairs Center. At the meeting, 16 units including our school were awarded the plaques by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and the Shanghai University Student Cultural and Creative Practice Base Unit. Wu Nengwu, deputy director of the Student Office of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, attended the event and awarded the card to our school. Liu Wenwei, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Fashion and Art Design of our school, attended the meeting.
The cultural and creative practice base for college students awarded by our school this time is mainly composed of two cultural and creative platforms jointly established by the School of Fashion and Art Design, Shanghai New Factor Creative Space Management Co., Ltd. and Huandonghua·Zhishangyuan Creative Park. School-enterprise cooperation and the joint construction of bases can effectively improve the employability of our students in the cultural and creative industry, open up employment channels, and promote multi-channel, more adequate, and higher-quality employment and entrepreneurship for students.
Since it was awarded the license, the cultural and creative practice base of our school has built a cultural and creative training chain of "learning-competition-research-creation". Through organizing typical entrepreneurial seminars, sharing of cultural and creative industry leaders, cultural and creative product design guidance, and other theme activities, help students consolidate cultural and creative knowledge reserves and improve students' cultural and creative practical ability; help time-honored brands to develop breakthroughs in cultural and creative design. Develop 4 series of cultural and creative products, 12 products on the ground, and 5 series of products under research to fulfill the social mission; actively encourage and guide students to participate in various cultural and creative product exhibition activities of Shanghai university students, and cultivate a group of excellent cultural and creative teams And individuals, to find students and teams with entrepreneurial intentions, and stimulate students' entrepreneurial and employment awareness; achieve an average annual growth of 15% for students participating in cultural and creative practice, an average annual growth of 19% for students who practice cultural and creative entrepreneurship, and 60% for successful entrepreneurship.
It is reported that in the future construction of the base, it will actively study the development law of the cultural and creative industry, learn from the development model of the cultural and creative industry, integrate the extensive resources of schools and society, actively promote cultural creativity and product development and design, and strive to broaden the extension of the cultural and creative practice base and stimulate Students’ sense of innovation, cultivate their innovative abilities, and promote students’ employment and entrepreneurship in the cultural and creative industry.
