Teachers and students from the Singapore Institute of Technology and Education (ITE) come to the school for exchange and study
On September 18th, the sun was shining and the autumn was high, and in the most beautiful September in Beijing, the Automotive Engineering College of Beijing Electronic Technology Vocational College welcomed 17 teachers and students from the Singapore Institute of Technology and Education (ITE ) to our school for a two-week professional study. More than 20 classmates from 15 Daimler classes and teachers from the college gathered together as the host and foreign teachers and students from afar.
On behalf of the school, Wang Hui, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, expressed his welcome to the teachers and students of the Singapore Technical Education Bureau and introduced them to the basic situation of the school. He hoped that the teachers and students of the two schools would cherish the opportunity of this exchange, learn from each other and share together And experience the concepts, characteristics, and teaching methods of vocational education in the two countries, and hope that Singaporean guests can fully appreciate and experience Chinese traditional culture and beautiful and magnificent scenery during their stay in China. After the welcoming ceremony, teachers from both sides gave a class opening report. Mr. Lu Jiangyi, director of the Department of Automotive Technical Services of the School of Automotive Engineering, gave a detailed introduction to the development history of Beijing Automotive and the development of the college's majors and courses. Teacher Zheng Guifa from the Technical Education Bureau of Singapore introduced the Singapore automotive professional setting and curriculum model. The teacher's report opened the prelude to this professional exchange. In the next two weeks, students from both sides will also have classes in the same class to learn about chassis, new energy, electric vehicles, robotics, and other professional courses with rich content.
INSTITUTE OF TECHNICAL was established on April 1, 1992. It is a government public college under the Ministry of Education of Singapore. It is fully funded by the Singapore government. It is the only college in Singapore that can issue an "International Technical Skills Certificate". It was also in 2005. The first educational institution in Singapore to receive the Singapore Quality Award. After years of development, the college now has 11 modern campuses all over Singapore, with different branches offering different courses, and a total of 34 majors for students to choose from. After two years of theoretical study and internship, students can obtain the International Technical Diploma- NITEC certificate issued by the Singapore Institute of Technology Education (ITE ), which is currently the highest level national skill certificate issued by the Singapore government.
In July 2017, Secretary Zhang Yajun of our school led a team to the Singapore Technical Education Bureau to visit, exchange and negotiate, and signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two schools. The visit of the 17 teachers and students of the school is a good start for the cooperation between the two schools and will surely achieve fruitful results.
