Chinese Government Scholarship
Enrollment category:
Undergraduates, postgraduates, doctoral students, general scholars, advanced scholars.
Application method:
Type A: Apply to the dispatching department of foreign students in your country or the Chinese embassy (consulate-general) in the country. Applicants can contact our school, and our school will issue a pre-admission notice for applicants who meet the application requirements. After the applicant is eligible for the scholarship, the CSC will notify the school for direct admission according to the pre-admission notice. For enrollment category, application time, application method, etc., please consult the relevant dispatching department.
Type B: Colleges and universities independent enrollment program. Apply directly to Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, for master and doctoral students.
*Apply through Type B, please contact our school directly, do not consult through intermediaries or third-party agencies to avoid being deceived.

All majors of our school can apply, please see the attachment for the major catalog.
Teaching language:
1. All majors can be taught in Chinese (those who have not reached the standard of Chinese proficiency can apply for one-year Chinese tuition).
2. The programs taught in English are as follows:
Undergraduate: Business Administration, Tourism Management.
Master: International Trade, Financial Management, Enterprise Management, Tourism Management, E-commerce, Management Science and Engineering, Engineering Management.
PhD: Financial Management, Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Management Science and Engineering, Statistics, E-commerce, World Economy, Quantitative Economics, Western Economics, International Trade, Finance, Human Resource Management, Educational Economics and Management, marketing, business management, tourism management, industrial economics, industrial organization, etc.
3. If other majors need to be taught in English, please contact the International Education Institute for further consultation.
Scholarship content and standards:
1. The school system for undergraduate students is 4 years, and the school system for Chinese language learners, general advanced learners and advanced advanced learners is one year. The length of the master's degree is 2 or 2.5 years, and the length of the doctoral degree is 3 years. The duration of the scholarship is the length of study determined at the time of admission. In principle, Chinese government scholarship students will not be extended after they come to China.
2. The scholarship is a full scholarship, which includes: tuition, accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance, and basic living expenses;
3. Applying through Type A, some countries provide international travel expenses, please check with the relevant dispatching department; applying through Type B, international travel expenses are borne by yourself.
4. The living expenses of scholarship students are paid monthly. The standard for doctoral/senior scholars is 3500 yuan/person/month, the standard for masters/general scholars is 3,000 yuan/person/month, and the standard for undergraduates is 2500 yuan/person/month.
Applicant conditions:
1. Applicants must be foreigners who abide by Chinese laws and regulations and school discipline, have good morals, and respect the customs and habits of the Chinese people.
2. Those who come to China to study undergraduate majors must have a high school diploma, excellent grades, and be under the age of 25.
3. Those who come to China to study for a master's degree must have a bachelor's degree, under the age of 35, and must be recommended by two professors or associate professors.
4. Those who come to China to study for a doctoral degree must have a master's degree, be under the age of 40, and must be recommended by two professors or associate professors.
5. Those who come to China as general scholars must have a high school diploma or above and be under 45 years old.
6. Those who come to China as senior advanced students must have a master's degree or above or associate professor or above, and be under 50 years old.
7. No other scholarships of the Chinese government have been obtained at the same time.
Application steps:
1. Apply through Type A: Applicants should log in to the "China Scholarship Council Online Application System for Studying in China" ( http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn ), fill in the application information and submit the application materials online after registering a personal account. Please select "Type A of Study Abroad Program" in the "Online Application System of China Scholarship Council for Studying in China". The "Accepting Agency Number" can be consulted and obtained from the international student dispatching department of your country. If the applicant needs to obtain the Admission Notice of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, he/she needs to register a personal account in the Dongbei University of Finance and Economics International Student Admissions Online Application System (http://study.dufe.edu.cn ) and fill in the application information online at the same time. Submit the application materials and notify our school by email after submission.
2. application by Type B: Applicants should log on "China Scholarship Council to study in China Online Registration System" ( http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn ) and "international student enrollment Northeast University of Finance online application system" ( HTTP ://study.dufe.edu.cn ), register a personal account and fill in application information and submit application materials online. Please select "Type B of Study Abroad Program" in the "Online Application System of China Scholarship Council for Studying in China", and the "Accepting Agency Number" is 10173.
*If the "Accepting Agency Code" is incorrect, the application will not be accepted.
Application materials (all materials should be provided in English or Chinese):
1. Notarized highest education certificate (if the applicant is a student at school, he can submit the certificate of attendance issued by the school he is attending; applicants who are already employed need to submit the certificate of employment issued by the employer). Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
2. Academic transcripts. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
3. To apply for Chinese-taught majors, please submit a copy of the HSK or BCT transcripts (if not included). For English-taught majors, please submit IELTS or TOEFL English language test transcripts (not included if your native language is English).
4. "Foreigner Physical Examination Record" (uniformly printed by the Chinese health and quarantine department, please bring the original with you when you come to China).
5. Study and research plan in China (no less than 800 words).
6. Those who come to China to study for master's and doctoral degrees must submit two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors.
7. A scanned copy of the applicant's valid passport.
8. Personal resume.
9. If the applicant has published results of the paper, please attach a list (including the title of the paper, the name of the publication, the time of publication, etc.).
10. If the applicant has outstanding talents or has won major awards, please attach relevant award certificates or works;
* The above application materials should be submitted online through the "Online Application System for Studying in China by the China Scholarship Council" and the "Online Application System for International Student Admissions of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics". There is no need to send additional paper materials.
* Those who come to China to study for a doctoral degree may not provide the acceptance letter of the doctoral supervisor of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (if any). Our school will arrange supervisors for applicants who meet the admission requirements based on the application materials.
