Holding tea talk meeting in Mid Autumn Festival

On the afternoon of September 29, the school held a special Mid-Autumn Festival tea party for all the international students on campus. Students from Morocco, Nigeria, and other countries gathered together with the teacher representatives of the International Education Institute to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and celebrate the traditional Chinese festival together.




The head of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office (International Education College) first conveyed the school leaders’ holiday greetings and life concerns for all international students and made arrangements for the prevention and control of the epidemic in the next stage of the "double festival" and holiday safety. In the face of the big test of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, all international students in the school can protect themselves following the requirements of their superiors, actively cooperate and support the school's epidemic prevention and control work, and contribute positive forces for the school to resolutely win the epidemic prevention and control battle.




At the tea party, the school also carefully prepared monthly cakes and grapefruits with unique flavors for the international students. The scene was filled with a strong festive atmosphere, allowing the international students in a foreign country to feel the warmth of home. Accompanied by a gentle song "Hope for a Long Time", the teacher representatives of the School of Foreign Languages introduced the allusions and origins of the Mid-Autumn Festival, allowing all international students to have a deeper understanding of the Mid-Autumn Festival traditional culture. Afterward, representatives of undergraduate international students and doctoral students in traditional costumes introduced the traditional festivals in Morocco and Nigeria respectively. Everyone sang and danced, and the atmosphere was very warm.

The successful holding of the Mid-Autumn Festival Tea Party further promoted the spread of Chinese excellent traditional culture and enhanced the gratitude of the school’s international students in China.
