The graduate program has passed the national special evaluation

A few days ago, the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and the Ministry of Education issued the "Notice on Issuing Opinions on Special Qualification Evaluation for Degree Authorization Sites in 2020". Our school has three first-level master programs in computer science and technology, chemical engineering and technology, and aquatic products, as well as accounting and law. Two professional degree master's programs successfully passed the national special evaluation.

The school currently has 12 first-level discipline doctoral programs, 27 first-level discipline master programs, and 16 professional degree master programs. The 5 master programs participating in this evaluation will be dynamically adjusted and newly added in 2016. In recent years, the school’s party committee has attached great importance to the work of degree and postgraduate education, fully implemented the fundamental task of Lide’s cultivation of people, took the strengthening of the party’s overall leadership as a strong guarantee, deepened the reform of postgraduate education, improved the discipline construction system, strengthened the construction of the tutor team, and improved high standards The personnel training system and the quality of postgraduate education have been steadily improved. During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, 1 doctoral program and 3 master programs were added. The number of graduate students in the school was 7,242, an increase of 52.3% over 2015. 28 tutor teams were selected as provincial graduate tutor teams and obtained provincial and above majors. The ability competition awards 689 items, 23 provincial excellent doctoral theses, and 88 provincial and above excellent master's theses.

 

It is reported that the newly-added degree points are required to participate in the national special evaluation after obtaining the degree authorization for three years. The national special evaluation work is in the charge of the Office of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, entrusted by the National Discipline Evaluation Group and the National Professional Degree Graduate Education Steering Committee to organize and implement it, mainly to check the level of degree authorization points and the quality of postgraduate training. Based on the evaluation results, the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council respectively made decisions to continue the authorization, rectify within a time limit and revoke the degree authorization.
