(1) How to prevent colds in winter

1. Pay special attention to changes in the weather. When the weather turns cold, you should add clothes in time to keep cold and warm.

2. Participate inappropriate physical exercises to enhance physical fitness and improve the body's ability to withstand cold.

3. The diet should not be too full, eat more vegetables, fruits, lean meat, eggs, and beans, and less greasy food; drink more boiled water, pay attention to supplementing the right amount of water to dilute the toxins in the blood, and accelerate the excretion of metabolites.

4. After waking up in the morning, open the doors and windows to keep the indoor air circulating. At the same time, wash the bedding and pillows frequently, and use the sun to disinfect.

5. Ensure enough sleep.

6. Try to avoid activities in public places where people gather to reduce the chance of being spread by cold viruses.

 

(2) What are the hazards of staying up late?

1. Frequent fatigue and decreased immunity: The most serious sequelae caused by people staying up late are fatigue and lack of energy; the body's immunity will also decrease, such as colds, gastrointestinal infections, allergies and other symptoms of autonomic nervous system disorders will appear.

2. Headache: The next day after staying up late, when going to work or class, I often have headaches, brain swelling, inability to concentrate, and even headaches. Long-term staying up late and insomnia also has invisible damage to memory.

3. Dark circles and bags under the eyes: Night is the physiological rest time of the human body. If you need to rest without rest, you will suffer from excessive fatigue, resulting in poor blood circulation around the eyes, causing dark circles, bags under the eyes, or white eyeballs covered with bloodshot eyes.

4. Dry skin: 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. of the next day is the beautiful time, which is also the time when the body's meridians run to the gallbladder and liver. If these two organs are not adequately rested, they will show up on the skin, prone to problems such as roughness.

5. Affect fertility: If men and women of childbearing age often stay up late, it will affect the activity and quantity of male sperm; it will also affect the secretion of female hormones and the quality of eggs, and easily affect the menstrual cycle.

6. The proportion of abnormal liver function is higher than that of ordinary people. People who are accustomed to late sleep should enter the deep sleep period at the latest in the liver nourishing time at 1 am. Otherwise, the liver cannot get rest, and fatty liver is easy to get. What's worse, staying up late for a long time will slowly cause neurological and psychiatric symptoms such as insomnia, forgetfulness, irritability, and anxiety.
