Those who come to China to study for a doctoral degree must have a master's degree and be under 40 years old
6. Scholarship content and standards

7. Submit application materials
Applicants must truthfully fill in and submit the following application materials (all in quadruplicate):
7.1 Online registration. Applicants register online at http://www.csc.edu.c, then download and print 4 copies of the application form, and other required paper application materials in quadruplicate and mail them to Guangxi University before April 20, 2019, International College. (Note: The admission code of Guangxi University is 10593)
7.2 Notarized highest degree certificate and transcript. If the applicant is a school student or is already employed, he/she must also submit an enrollment certificate issued by the school or an employment certificate issued by the employer. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations. If the applicant fails to obtain the graduation and degree certificate at the time of application, the applicant should provide a certificate issued by the school where he graduated and sign a letter of guarantee with our school to ensure that two months after being admitted, if the graduation and degree certificate are still not available, the scholarship qualification will be automatically waived.
7.3 The study and research plan in China (not less than 800 words), written in Chinese or English.
7.4 Applicants for a master's or doctoral degree must submit two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors, written in Chinese or English.
7.5 Students applying for music majors must submit CDs of their own works; students applying for fine arts majors must provide CDs of their own works (2 sketches, 2 color paintings, and 2 other works);
7.6 "Foreigner Physical Examination Record" (copy, the original should be kept by yourself): This form is uniformly printed by the Chinese Health and Quarantine Department. It is limited to those who have studied in China for more than 6 months and must be filled out in English. Applicants should strictly follow the items required in the "Foreigner Physical Examination Record" for inspection. The "Foreigner Physical Examination Record" that is missing, does not have a photo of the person affixed, or the photo is not stamped with a seam seal, is not signed and stamped by the doctor and the hospital is invalid. Because the examination result is valid for 6 months, the applicant is requested to determine the time for the physical examination accordingly.
7.7 A photocopy of the certificate of HSK level 4 or above (submit if there is one, if not, you need to study Chinese in our school for one year. Applicants for doctoral degree programs can apply for courses in English, but they must confirm with our school).
Regardless of whether you are admitted or not, the application materials will not be returned. Applicants are requested to keep important originals by themselves.

9. Admission and notification
9.1 Guangxi University reviews the application materials of scholarship applicants and has the right to make appropriate adjustments to the majors and length of time the applicants choose. The application materials that have passed the examination of Guangxi University will be reported to the Scholarship Council, and the Scholarship Council will decide whether to admit or not. If the applicant's conditions or application materials do not meet the regulations and requirements, the application will be deemed invalid and not accepted.
9.2 For those who apply from abroad to study for a master's or doctoral degree in China, if their academic qualifications do not meet the requirements of ordinary Chinese colleges and universities, the school will determine the types of students they will admit or make conditional admissions. If you need to study Chinese or take preparatory courses before the professional study, you should pass the school entrance examination or related course examinations during the Chinese tuition or preparatory study period before you can officially enter the professional study.
9.3 Applicants admitted to Guangxi University can receive Chinese government scholarships after they are approved by the Scholarship Council. The list of scholarship recipients is reported to the Ministry of Education of China for the record.
9.4After coming to China, scholarship recipients are not allowed to change the admission institution, major of study, and study period specified in the "Admission Notice" signed and agreed by themselves in principle.
9.5 The admission result will be announced at the end of July. Our school will inform applicants of the admission result via email. Please be sure to check your email. After the results are announced, our school will mail the "Admission Notice" and "Visa Application Form for Studying in China" (JW201 Form) to the students themselves. Candidates must provide valid contact information and mailing address.
