Scholarship for overseas students from ASEAN countries

1. Scholarship category

Full scholarship: used to support overseas students from ASEAN countries who have received one-year Chinese language training, undergraduate, master's, and doctoral education in Guangxi. Full scholarship includes: exemption of registration fee, tuition, basic textbook fee, accommodation fee; provision of major illness and accident insurance; a monthly living allowance for international students, the specific standard is 2,000 yuan per month for doctoral students and 1,500 yuan per month for postgraduates, 1,000 yuan per month for bachelor and undergraduate students, 12 months per year.

2. Basic application requirements for scholarships:

2.1 Applicants must be citizens of ASEAN countries and in good health;

2.2 Be friendly to China, abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government, and abide by the rules and regulations of the school;

2.3 Good conduct, serious study attitude, and good grades;

2.4 Have not obtained any other scholarships from the Chinese government at the same time.

3. Scholarship application procedures and materials to be submitted:

Scholarships must be submitted by the international students to our school in writing. The application materials must be submitted to Guangxi University before May 30 each year.

Application materials: (4 copies of all materials)

3.1 Full scholarship application form (posted with photos)

3.2 A notarized copy of the highest degree certificate and academic transcript;

3.3 Study or research plan in China (Chinese or English, no less than 200 words);

3.4 Applicants for master's or doctoral degree must provide two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors;

3.5 "Foreigner Physical Examination Record" (copy, the original should be kept by yourself): This form is uniformly printed by the Chinese Health and Quarantine Department. It is limited to those who have studied in China for more than 6 months and must be filled out in English. Applicants should strictly follow the items required in the "Foreigner Physical Examination Record" for inspection. The "Foreigner Physical Examination Record" that is missing, does not have a photo of the person affixed, or the photo is not stamped with a seam seal, is not signed and stamped by the doctor and the hospital is invalid. Because the examination result is valid for 6 months, the applicant is requested to determine the time for the physical examination accordingly.

4. Admission and notification

Our school will promptly notify the applicants of the scholarship review results in written form. For applicants who have received full scholarship funding, the school will issue an "Admission Notice", and the winner will register on time according to the school and major determined by the "Admission Notice", and no change will be made, otherwise, it will be deemed a waiver.
