1. School profile and enrollment majors

Guangxi University for Nationalities is located on the bank of the beautiful Xiangsi Lake in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi. The school was founded in 1952 and has three campuses: Xiangsi Lake Campus, Siyuan Lake Campus, and Wuming Campus. It covers an area of about 3,600 acres and the campus building area is 887,298 square meters. The school currently has nearly 25,000 full-time students, 2343 faculty members, and 24 colleges (including 1 independent college). The disciplines cover philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, 11 disciplines including medicine, management, and art. 2. Application time

Diploma students are only enrolled in the fall semester, and the application time is April 1st to September 1st each year.

4. The application method

Online application: please log in to the international student application and enrollment system of Guangxi University for Nationalities

4.1 If you are applying for undergraduate study, please fill out clearly as required and upload documents 1-8 completely;

4.2 If you are applying for postgraduate (master or doctoral) study, please fill out clearly as required and upload documents 1-9 completely:

(1) Your ID photo;

(2) The highest degree certificate. Applicants in school can submit the pre-graduation certificate issued by the school, and the highest academic qualification certificate must be submitted when enrolling;

(3)  Original transcript;

(4) Physical examination form for foreigners (the form can be downloaded in the application system);

(5) Study plan in China (signature of the applicant is required). No less than 800 words, written in Chinese or English;

(6) Scanned copy of valid passport;

(7) HSK certificate or other materials proving Chinese proficiency;

(8) Application fee remittance certificate;

(9) Two letters of recommendation with autographs. Applicants for master's degree candidates must be recommended by two professors or associate professors in related disciplines, and doctoral candidates must be recommended by two related professional professors.

4.3 If the applicant has the following circumstances, the applicant's materials shall be reviewed according to relevant national documents:

(1) Those who were originally Chinese citizens and later became foreign nationals;

(2) Applicants who were born in a foreign country and acquired foreign nationality, and both or one of their parents are Chinese citizens;

(3) Applicants under the age of 18 as of September 1, 2021.


1) The above application materials must be in Chinese or English, and notarized translations must be provided for documents in languages other than Chinese or English.

2) Please do not mail the paper version of the application materials or send them by e-mail. The paper version of the application materials and the application materials sent by e-mail will not be reviewed and processed.

3) The school may request the applicant to provide supplementary materials according to the situation.


5. Review, admission, and notification

5.1 The school will review the applicant's application materials, and conduct an examination or assessment of the applicant's academic level and Chinese proficiency, and select the best candidates for admission.

5.2 Admission and notification: Applicants can check the admission results in the application system.

5.3 Within 60 days of receiving the application materials, the school will issue the "Admission Notice" and "Visa Application Form for Studying in China" (JW202) and other admission materials to the students who have passed the review and are admitted. Applicants must provide valid contact information and mailing address.


6. Registration

6.1 Admitted students must come to the school to register and register in strict accordance with the time specified in the admission notice. All original application materials will be checked upon registration. Those who do not meet the admission requirements will be disqualified from admission.

6.2 The time from the opening of the journal to the registration is at the beginning of September each year, and the specific date is subject to the "Admission Notice".
