(Chinese Language and Culture program)
Hainan University is one of the Chinese Language Education Base authorized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, and one of the HSK test Centers (Chinese Proficiency Test). At present, the School of International Education offers 6 different levels (A-F) for Chinese Language and Culture program learners according to their Chinese proficiency. The teachers here are friendly, responsible and experienced.
At the beginning of each semester, the new students will be divided into different levels based on a placement test (a written and oral test); Students who have studied here before will be divided into different levels based on their final marks of the preceding semester. The average number of students per class is about twenty. After class, our school has a variety of activities.The School aims at not only improving the students’ language ability but also deepening their understanding of Chinese culture and enhancing their capacity of the practical use of Chinese language by organizing enjoyable activities and various competitions, to help create a better study environment for international students.
Hainan University extends the warmest welcome to international students with any levels of Chinese language who wish to improve it.
