We Won The 9th "Qiongzhou Cup" international students' Chinese and talent competition

On December 9, the 9th "Qiongzhou Cup" International Student Chinese and Talent Competition in Hainan Province, hosted by the Hainan Provincial Department of Education, was successfully held at Hainan Normal University. Qin Sibo, deputy director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of the Hainan Provincial Department of Education, and Li Sen, vice president of Hainan Normal University attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Zhu Yuhua, Director of the Second Division of Overseas Chinese Affairs of the United Front Work Department of Hainan Provincial Party Committee, and Zuo Zhiqiang, Deputy Director, were invited to attend the competition.

 

Hainan University has achieved great results. All 4 international students who participated in the competition won the prizes, including two first prizes.

The winners were NNABUIKE SUNDAY CHISOM from Nigeria and Wangdi David from Romania;

Nana from Ukraine (KHOMYTSKA ORYNA) ) Won the second prize;

NKIRU JOY IKPEOHA from Nigeria won the third prize.

 

Hainan University won the "Excellent Organization Award" in this competition. Teachers Lai Chunrong, Deng Baiyi and Chen Xiaona of the School of International Education of our school were awarded the title of "Excellent Instructor".

 

The theme of this competition is "Chinese as a bridge, love for Qiongzhou", and it is divided into two parts: Chinese self-introduction, language ability display, and Chinese talent display. A total of 23 international students from 9 undergraduate and higher vocational colleges in the province participated in the finals and demonstrated their Chinese and talent levels on the same stage.

 

So far, the "Qiongzhou Cup" International Student Chinese and Talent Competition in Hainan Province has been held for 9 consecutive years. It is a brand competition for the training of international students in Hainan Province. The competition aims to promote multicultural exchanges and sharing, stimulate the enthusiasm of international students in Qiong to learn Chinese culture, and help more international students studying in Qiong to become friendly messengers of "spreading culture and passing friendship".
