HBU has been approved as a major project of the National Social Science Fund
Recently, the National Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences released an announcement on the website of this year's "Research and Interpretation of the Spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Party, National Social Science Fund Major Projects" list of 130 projects. The "Research on China's Long-term Population Development Strategy to Enhance Comprehensive Strength" declared by Professor Wang Jinying from the School of Economics of our school was approved. This is the only project approved this time in our province, and it is also the 9th national major scientific research project in philosophy and social sciences approved by our school.
Professor Wang Jinying is a Ph.D. in economics, a doctoral supervisor, and concurrently the vice president of the 9th China Demographic Society. He has long been engaged in research and teaching in the fields of demography, population economics, human capital, and economic growth, regional economics, etc., with remarkable achievements. His achievement "Investigation on Poor Families in Contiguous Poverty Areas and Countermeasures-Based on the Survey of Yanshan-Taihang Mountain and Heilonggang Basin" won the second prize of the 8th Higher School Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award (Humanities and Social Sciences), "Population and Economy "Change in Development Mode" was selected into the National Philosophy and Social Science Achievement Library.
