International students go to Suzhou for a cultural experience
On November 16-17, 2019, our school organized international students in China to go to Suzhou for a two-day cultural experience event. 24 international students from 10 countries including Russia, Laos, Vietnam and others participated in the event.
During the event, the international students visited Mudu Ancient Town, Suzhou Ancient Canal, Museum, Humble Administrator's Garden and other places. In the ancient town of Mudu, the international students personally pierced the needles, experienced the addiction of “embroidery” and experienced the skill of traditional embroidery in Suzhou; in the ancient canal of Suzhou, the students were exposed to the shadows of light and water and experienced the beauty of this oriental water city. Unique charm; in the Humble Administrator's Garden, the top of the four major gardens in China, international students appreciate the achievements of Chinese classical garden art and discover the beauty of different Chinese architecture; in the Suzhou Museum, where modern and classical blends, foreign students enjoy ancient paintings and calligraphy, porcelain, Crafts and other cultural relics have a deeper understanding of the history and culture of the ancient city of Suzhou.
"Jiangnan gardens are the best in the world, Suzhou gardens are the best in the south of the Yangtze River". This Suzhou cultural experience activity not only allows international students to appreciate the delicate beauty of Suzhou's traditional gardens but also allows them to understand and learn Suzhou's traditional architectural craftsmanship and traditional culture. They have learned about the different regional cultures of our country.
