The predecessor of the Cultural Museum of Harbin Normal University was the Cultural Relics Room of the History Department of Harbin Normal University. In the 1960s, experts and scholars such as my country's famous historians and professors of the history department of our schools, such as Mr. Su Yuanlei and Mr. You Shou, carried out history teaching more intuitively. The History Department Cultural Relics Room was created to provide real and reliable physical materials for history and archeology research. After decades of continuous enrichment of the collection of cultural relics by the older generation of historians and successors, the scale of the venue has gradually expanded. In 2005, it was renamed the Harbin Normal University Cultural Museum. The Cultural Museum has an area of 2,000 square meters and currently has more than 2,000 cultural relics in its collection, including fossils, oracle bones, stoneware, pottery, iron, jade, bronze, lacquer, porcelain, rubbings, coins, Buddha statues, bronze mirrors, paintings and calligraphy. Beginning from ancient times to modern times, the age is continuous, the time span is long, the variety of exhibits is large, the research value is great, and the connotation is rich.
