The Heilongjiang Modern Culture and Art Industrial Park project was listed in the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government’s "Higher Education Building Plan" in August 2008. It was included in the 2010 Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government's "Action Plan on Promoting Cultural Development and Prosperity". One of the six key cultural industry parks to be constructed from 2010 to 2015. It is one of the 200 key construction projects of the Harbin Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government in the 2010 "Project Construction Acceleration Year", and it is one of the top 50 key construction projects of Harbin City in the 2011 political style construction year. At present, there are more than 80 small and medium-sized enterprises that have reached an agreement to settle in this project, and more than 20 projects are under negotiation. After the completion of the cultural and art park, it can establish the image of a new window for urban construction in Harbin. At the same time, it will be connected to the four national science and technology parks of Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin Engineering and Harbin Institute of Technology. The park project is located in the Jiangnan campus of our school (the campus covers an area of 280,000 square meters), of which the key planned land area of the park is about 108,200 square meters. The construction of the park was completed in three phases, with a planned total investment of approximately 2.263 billion yuan. After the completion of the park, the total newly built area on the ground will be about 334,200 square meters, and the construction period will be from 2011 to 2015. The project was planned by the Cultural Industry Research Institute of Peking University, and jointly designed by the Andi Architectural Design Institute of Tsinghua University and the Harbin Institute of Technology Architectural Design Institute.
