3 . International Students' Apartments
There is a dormitory for international students in Hunan Agricultural University, which can accommodate international students. Dormitories are divided into single rooms and double rooms. The school uniformly arranges accommodation for exchange students and school full scholarship students. Self-financed international students can apply for dormitories from the International Students Office. The dormitory does not provide bedding ( such as bedding, sheets, pillows ), but the dormitory provides furniture (including single beds, desks, wardrobes, heating and cooling air-conditioning).
There are International Students' Apartments for international students of Hunan Agricultural University. The International Students' Apartments have single rooms and double rooms. Generally places are offered for Full-scholarship students and Exchange students. Self-supported students can apply for places on the campuses . Bedding ( including quilt, bed sheet and pillow ) will be not provided, but furniture (including single bed, desk, wardrobe and air conditioner) will be provided.
The dormitory is equipped with a communal kitchen ( equipped with a microwave oven and induction cooker ) and a communal laundry room (equipped with a washing machine).
The Overseas Students' Apartments are equipped with communal kitchen (including microwave and oven) and communal laundry (including washing machine).
4. Entry Process
( 1 ) Foreign students present the originals of the admission notice and visa application form ( JW202 ) to the International Students Office for registration procedures and temporary accommodation registration ( within 24 hours after arrival). When registering, they need to submit passport copies and 8 2 -inch white sheets. Background color photos, as well as the original copy of the "Foreigner Physical Examination Record" and the original copy of the inspection project report.
International students should go to International Student Office to register no later than 24 hours upon arrival. Original documents of Admission Notice, Visa Application for Study in China (JW202), a copy of passport, eight 2-inch color photos with a white background as well as the original "Physical Examination Record for Foreigner" and the original reports of checked items should be presented.
(2) Receive the "Handbook for International Students";
Get the "International Student Handbook".
( 3 ) With dormitory allocation information, go to the international student dormitory communication room to check in;
Check in the reception office of Overseas Students' Apartments with the dormitory assignment information.
( 4 ) Self-financed international students should pay tuition and other expenses to the school's financial office.
Self-funded students should make the payment of tuition fee and other payment to HUNAU Finance Department.
5. Visa (Residence Permit) procedures Visa ( Resident Permit )
( 1 ) New students must apply for a visa ( "Residence Permit for Foreigners" ) from the Changsha Municipal Public Security Bureau within 30 days from the date of entry. If the visa expires and causes illegal residence, it will be subject to the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of Entry and Exit of Foreigners" 》Punishment shall be imposed on relevant regulations.
New students, within 30 days of entry into China, must apply for a visa ( "Foreigner Residence Permit" ) at the Public Security Bureau of Changsha. It is illegal for international students to live in China with expired visas, which will result in penalties according to the regulation of "Foreigners of Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China".
To apply for the Residence Permit for Foreigners, a health certificate issued by the Hunan Provincial Population and Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau must be submitted. Freshmen must submit the original copy of the "Foreigner Physical Examination Record" and the original inspection item report, which are certified by the Changsha Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, and those who pass the certificate will be issued a health certificate. Those with incomplete physical examination items or no physical examination materials must undergo a new physical examination at the Changsha Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and pay the medical examination fee in accordance with relevant regulations.
Health Certificates issued by the Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Changsha should be presented when application for a visa ( "Foreigner Residence Permit" ) . New students should hand in the original "Physical Examination Record for Foreigner" and original reports of checked items . The materials need accreditation by the Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Changsha. Those who are qualified will receive a Health Certificate and can apply for "Foreigner Residence Permit". Those who do not hand in the physical examination materials or whose materials are incomplete should take the medical examination again in the Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Changsha and pay the associated fees according to the Regulations.
( 2 ) After the new students register, the school will centrally arrange for the new students to go to the Changsha Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau for inspection report certification (the original copy of the "Foreigner Physical Examination Record" and the original inspection item report have been submitted ) or the physical examination (the above documents have not been submitted) By). Please pay attention to the notice from the International Students Office in time.
After registration, students will be taken to the Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Changsha either for accreditation of the original "Physical Examination Record for Foreigner" and original reports of checked items or to do physical examination if students do not hand in the physical examination materials or whose materials are incomplete. Please pay close attention to the notice issued by the International Student Office for more specific information.
( 3 ) Anyone who is diagnosed with mental illness, open tuberculosis and other infectious diseases, who cannot obtain a health certificate, will be automatically dropped out of school and leave China within a limited time.
Foreigners suffering from mental disorders, open pulmonary tuberculosis or other infectious diseases will NOT get Health Certificates, hereby be regarded as automatic withdrawals and will be required to leave China.
(4) Self-financed international students must pay all fees to the school's financial office before applying for visa procedures.
Self-funded students cannot extend their visas until all the expenses have been paid to the finance department of HUNAU.
(5) The school will organize new students to go to the Changsha Public Security Bureau for visa procedures, and the specific matters will be notified separately.
Our university will arrange students to extend visas together at the Changsha Municipal Public Security Bureau. Additional details will be provided in further notices.
