In this activity, the teacher first introduced the types of Chinese knots to the students and told them the cultural meaning behind the Chinese knots. At four o'clock in the afternoon on December 20, after finishing a busy day of study and life, the students of class D ushered in their long-awaited cultural class. This cultural activity is "painting facial makeup", which allows students to increase their understanding of the art of Peking opera during the hands-on process, so the focus is on the facial makeup of Peking opera. Of course, students can also play freely.

 

At the beginning of the activity, the teacher showed a PPT to explain to the students the art of Peking Opera, the source and type of facial makeup, etc. The students listened very carefully.

 

The key display content is that different colored face masks represent different personalities.

 

Red face: symbolizes loyalty, uprightness, and blood, such as Guan Yu in "Three Kingdoms Opera".

 

Black face: The expression is serious, unsmiling, neutral, representing Mengzi. As Bao Zheng in "Bao Gong Opera"; also symbolizes mighty power, rudeness, and boldness, such as Zhang Fei in "Three Kingdoms Opera".

The students were already eager to try it during the lecture. As soon as the teacher finished sending out the facial masks and drawing tools, they immediately started to outline, draw and paint their own masks. After painting the facial makeup one after another, the students were very happy, exchanged masks to appreciate and wear with each other, and took photos together.

 

The activity lasted until half-past five. After class was over, many students still expressed their enthusiasm, saying that they would stay in the classroom to make their work more perfect.

 

At 4 o'clock on the afternoon of December 20th, after the end of a busy day of study, the D class students ushered in their long-awaited cultural class. This cultural event was “mask painting”, which allowed students to increase their understanding of the art of Beijing Opera during the hands-on process. Therefore, the focus was on the Peking Opera mask, and of course, students could freely play.

 

Before the event, the teacher showed the PPT and explained the art of Beijing Opera, the source and type of the face, and the students listened very seriously.
