Application conditions

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health.

2. Applicants' academic qualifications and age requirements: Those who come to China to study for a bachelor's degree must graduate from high school and must be at least age

18 years old, not more than 30 years old. (If you are under 18 years old and your parents are not resident in China

Students need to provide the official power of attorney from the parents. )

3. Language requirements:

● Applicants for Chinese-taught majors must have a certificate of HSK 4 with a score of 180 and above, and their application for Chinese history majors must have

HSK Level 5 certificate with a score of 180 and above is required.

● To apply for majors taught in English, IELTS scores of 5.5 or above, TOEFL scores of 75 or above, or CEFR B2 (European

Standard) or high school level accepts the certificate of teaching in English.

Admission procedure

1. Preliminary review: The applicant will receive the preliminary review information within 15 working days after submitting the online application (except holidays).

2. Academic review: 45 working days (excluding scholarship applicants).

3. Admission results: applicants are requested to check the system status regularly.

4. Notice: After completing the admission work, a notice and other relevant materials will be mailed.

Preparation for admission

The admitted person shall go to the embassy (consulate) of the People’s Republic of China to apply for coming to China with the admission notice and JW202 form.

Study (X) visa; the admitted person must bring "Jiangnan University Foreign Student Admission Notice", JW202 form

And the original copy of the "Foreigner Physical Examination Form" (the form is valid for only 6 months and is for applying for a residence permit after coming to China

Tuition: (paid after enrollment): 14800 yuan/year for liberal arts majors; 16400 yuan/year for science majors.
