Chinese teaching
☆Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passports. Residents of Mainland China (Mainland), Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan after immigrating abroad, as foreign students, applicants must hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for more than 4 years (inclusive), and the most recent 4 years (April 2021) The record of actual residence abroad for more than 2 years within 30 days (the actual residence abroad for 9 months in a year can be counted as 1 year).
I. Undergraduates:
1. Be in good health and abide by the laws of the People's Republic of China and the regulations of Jilin University. Applicants are between 18 and 30 years old (under 18 years old, a guardian guarantee is required).
2. Applicants should have an academic background equivalent to senior high school graduation in our country, and a copy of the high school diploma and above and a copy of the transcript should be provided.
3. Language requirements: 180 points or more at HSK level 4. Among them, the diploma of the School of Public Diplomacy requires HSK level 5 or above and a TOEFL 550 (PBT), 213 (CBT), 79 (IBT) or IELTS 6.0 or above.
Entrance requirements for clinical medicine major (5 years):
1. Be in good health and abide by the laws of the People's Republic of China and the regulations of Jilin University. Applicants are between 18 and 30 years old (under 18 years old, a guardian guarantee is required).
2. Applicants should have an academic background equivalent to a senior high school graduation in my country. The scores in biology and chemistry must reach 90 points (or A-level), and other courses must reach 80 points (or B-level). A copy of a high school diploma and above and a copy of the transcript is required.
3. The applicant's Chinese proficiency must be at least 180 points at HSK Level 4.
4. The Bethune Medical Department organizes the interview and decides the final admission result.
II. Master's degree students:
1. Be in good health and abide by the laws of the People's Republic of China and the regulations of Jilin University. Applicants are under 40 years old.
2. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification certificate. (The bachelor's degree must be obtained before the enrollment of the master's student at the latest.) A copy of the bachelor's degree or above certificate and transcript and two recommendation letters from associate professors or more is required.
3. The applicant's Chinese proficiency must reach HSK 4 with a score of 180 and above. Among them, the international language education major of the International Language Institute requires HSK 5 with a score of 180 and above.
III. Doctoral students:
1. Be in good health and abide by the laws of the People's Republic of China and the regulations of Jilin University. Applicants are under 55 years of age.
2. Applicants should have a master's degree or equivalent academic qualification certificate. (At the latest, you must obtain a master's degree before the admission of doctoral students.) A copy of the master's degree or above certificate and transcript and two recommendation letters from associate professors or more is required.
3. The applicant's Chinese proficiency must reach HSK 4 with a score of 180 and above.
English taught

Entrance requirements for English-taught programs of clinical medicine (6 years)
1. Be in good health and abide by the laws of the People's Republic of China and the regulations of Jilin University. Applicants are between 18 and 30 years old (under 18 years old, a guardian guarantee is required).
2. Applicants should have an academic qualification equivalent to senior high school graduation in my country. TOEFL (IBT) with a score of 70 or more and no less than 15 in each item or IELTS 6.0 or more and no less than 5.0 in each item; mathematics, physics and chemistry students with a score of 70 or more.
3. The Bethune Medical Department organizes the interview and decides the final admission result.
School of Law, School of Nursing, School of Automotive Engineering
1. Be in good health and abide by the laws of the People's Republic of China and the regulations of Jilin University. Applicants are between 18 and 30 years old (under 18 years old, a guardian guarantee is required).
2. Applicants should have an academic qualification equivalent to a senior high school graduation in my country.
3. Each college organizes assessments.
