International students have achieved great results in speech contests
Recently, the 2020 International Student "Chinese Characters and I" competition hosted by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and People’s Daily Online announced the review results. Under the careful guidance of the teachers of the International Education College, NANG SHWE PWINT, a Myanmar student from our school, pleased Won the "Excellence Award" and our school won the "Excellent Organization Award".
The 2020 International Student "Me and Chinese Characters" competition takes "Harmony" as the theme and is divided into three stages: preliminary, semi-finals and finals. Since the official start of the competition on October 16, 2020, it has attracted thousands of international students from all over the country to participate actively and has built a learning exchange platform for international students. Through the online "knowledge quiz" of the preliminary contest and the "small video talent show" in the semi-finals, after a series of competitions, NANG SHWE PWINT, a Myanmar student from our school, stood out and entered the top 30 in the country with excellent results. Both individuals and the school achieved good results.
In this competition, the international students of our school demonstrated a good level of knowledge and ability to use Chinese culture and Chinese characters, which also enabled them to better feel China's profound historical and cultural heritage and the infinite charm of Chinese characters.
