Hold a forum and joint seminar
On the afternoon of April 30th, our school and the Queen Mary University of London held a symposium and joint seminar. Our school principal Zhou Chuangbing, vice-principals Deng Xiaohua, Liu Yaobin, and Queen Mary University of London principal Colin Bailey, vice-principals Wang Wen, Colin Grant held an online forum.
Colin Bailey, Zhou Chuangbing, Wang Wen, Deng Xiaohua, and Colin Grant spoke successively, reviewing the all-around cooperation and achievements of the two universities in the fields of teaching and research, talent training, and social services. Both parties agreed that the two universities have always upheld the value pursuit of enhancing human well-being and serving people’s health, have a pragmatic and efficient cooperation team, have a solid foundation for cooperation, and have broad prospects for cooperation. They hope that the two sides will further deepen the cooperative relationship, broaden the scope of cooperation, enhance the level of cooperation, and promote The two schools to develop together.
In the joint seminar, Professor Mark Caulfield from Queen Mary University gave a keynote speech for the seminar, and scholars Guifen Chen, Peter Thorpe, Viji Draviam from Queen Mary University, and scholars Wang Jianbin and Hong Kui from our school gave academic reports respectively. Queen Mary’s students Wu Qilong, Zheng Qian, and Qin Cheng also shared their latest scientific research progress.
