Chinese Government Scholarship

1 Overview

To enhance the mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese people and the people of other countries, and to develop exchanges and cooperation between China and other countries in various fields, the Chinese government has established scholarships to subsidize outstanding students, teachers, and scholars from all over the world to study or conduct research in Chinese universities. The Ministry of Education of China has entrusted the China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as the "China Scholarship Council") to be responsible for the enrollment and management of Chinese government scholarship students. Nanjing Agricultural University is currently undertaking the task of cultivating Chinese government scholarship students. For specific application procedures, please visit:

2. Funding criteria

Type: Full scholarship

1) Tuition fee reduction and exemption;

2) Accommodation: Free on-campus accommodation or accommodation subsidy (Master students: 700 yuan/month; PhD students: 1,000 yuan/month);

3) Basic living expenses: Master students: 3000 yuan/month; PhD students: 3500 yuan/month;

4) Comprehensive medical insurance for international students in China.
