1. Entry requirements

Ph.D. student |
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, under the age of 40, hold a valid foreign passport, be in good health, be of good character, and abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the school discipline and school rules. 2. The photo page of an individual ordinary passport. If you are in China, please provide the visa page or residence permit page at the same time. 3. The highest degree diploma. If the applicant is a student in school, he must submit a pre-graduation certificate issued by the school he is attending, and a post-admission certificate must be submitted after admission. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations. 4. Transcript of the highest degree. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations. 5. Recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors. Written in Chinese or English, signed by the recommender, and attached with a contact number and email. 6. Acceptance letter issued by the doctoral supervisor of Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. 7. Study or research plan. 8. Published academic papers and academic achievements (please provide if any). 9. Applicants for Chinese-taught majors shall provide HSK level 4 or above score reports. 10. Applicants for English-taught majors provide TOEFL or IELTS score certificates (not required for native English speakers). 11. Other supporting materials (please provide if any, such as award certificates, training certificates, etc.). |
Postgraduate |

Undergraduate |

If the applicant is a student at school, he must submit a pre-graduation certificate issued by the school he is attending, and a high school graduation certificate must be submitted after admission. Chinese Language Learners |

Remarks:
- Applicants must submit an application form (the application form can be automatically generated after the online application is completed or downloaded in the download area of the admission application column).
- A copy of the "Foreigner Physical Examination Form". Applicants should strictly follow the requirements of the "Foreigner Physical Examination Form" for inspection. The "Foreigner Physical Examination Form" with missing items, no photo of the person posted, or no seal on the photo, and no signature and seal of the physician or hospital, is invalid. The inspection result is valid for 6 months (download URL http://gjy.nuist.edu.cn/2834/list.htm).
- Bank deposit certificate. The amount of the deposit certificate must cover the tuition, dormitory, and living expenses during school. Issued in the name of the applicant, parents, or other guardians.
- In addition to the above application materials, our school may require applicants to provide other supplementary materials according to the situation.
- The application materials will not be returned regardless of whether they are admitted or not.
2. Application steps
2.1 Online application
Applicants login to the online registration system for foreign students

Register an account, fill in and submit application materials online.
If you cannot complete the online application, you can download and fill in the "Nanjing University of Information Technology International Student Admission Application Form" from the "Download Area" of the "Admission Application" column of this website, and prepare the corresponding materials according to the requirements of the admission requirements, and complete the application materials E-mail to oie@nuist.edu.cn or mail to the following address:

2.2 Payment of registration fee
Applicants who pass the review will receive the registration fee payment notice sent by the school through email. The applicant pays the registration fee according to the fee standard of the year. If the registration fee is not paid on time, it will be deemed to have automatically waived the admission qualification.

2.3 Issue of admission materials
The school will deliver the original "Admission Notice", "Visa Application Form for Studying in China" (JW202 Form), and other supporting materials to the applicant within 10 working days after receiving the application fee.
2.4 Visa application and school registration
Admitted applicants are requested to apply at the Chinese Embassy (Consulate) with the "Admission Notice", "Visa Application Form for Foreigners Studying in China" (JW202 Form), "Foreigner Physical Examination Record" and blood test report (all originals are required) Come to China to study (X1) or (X2) visa, and report to Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology within the registration period specified in the admission notice. If you cannot register on time for some reason, you must obtain the prior approval of our school. Otherwise, it will be deemed to have waived the admission qualification automatically.
