Ma Libang won the "May 4th Youth Medal of Gansu Province"
On April 29th, the commemoration meeting of Gansu Province to commemorate the 102nd anniversary of the May Fourth Movement and the red theme group class demonstration activity of "Youth Striving for the Party to Strengthen the Country" was held in Ningwozhuang Hotel. Professor Ma Libang, Dean of the School of Geography and Environmental Sciences of Northwest Normal University, won the 25th "Gansu Provincial Youth May 4th Medal".
In recent years, Professor Ma Libang has led the team to complete more than 30 county-level national economic development plans in Gansu Province, more than 30 research topics on land and space planning and rural revitalization planning, and trained 11,000 rural cadres and masses. Several research results provide a theoretical basis and policy basis for promoting the effective connection of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, and the consultation report form has been approved by relevant leaders of Gansu Province. The organization team is committed to rural development in poverty-stricken areas, completes the revitalization and village planning of more than 200 villages in the Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, helps the villages to realize the transition from "blood transfusion" to "hematopoiesis", and provides experience for the development of similar areas in China.
