Undergraduate enrollment Guide

1. Application process

1.1 Login to the online registration system for international students of Northwestern Polytechnical University and complete the online application.

1.3 For scholarship applicants, the Admissions Office will organize relevant experts to conduct a written test or interview after passing the material review, and the specific time will be notified by email.

1.5 The admitted students must go through the registration procedures at the International Education College of Northwestern Polytechnical University in strict accordance with the time specified in the admission notice.

2.1 Online registration is the necessary and only procedure for application, please submit the materials before the application deadline

2.2 All notifications will be sent to the registered email address of the application website, and applications with complete materials will be reviewed by the relevant colleges.

2.3 Those who fail to complete the enrollment procedures within the prescribed enrollment time will be disqualified from enrollment

3. Application requirements

3.1 Non-Chinese citizens.

3.2 Physical and mental health.

3.3 As of September 1, 2021, they are 18-30 years old; applicants who are under 18 years old must submit the "Notarization of Guardian in China" and the guardian's certificate information.

3.4 Possessor will obtain a high school graduation certificate.

3.5 Excellent academic performance.

Language Requirements

Applicants who meet the following criteria are exempt from providing language scores:

(1) Chinese-taught programs:

Applicants whose mother tongue is Chinese, or who have completed high school education in China.

(2) English-taught programs:

Applicants whose mother tongue is English, or have completed high school education in a country where their mother tongue is English. Applicants to study in China must hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for more than 4 years (inclusive), and have a record of actual residence abroad for more than 2 years (one year) within the last 4 years (until April 30, 2021) The actual residence in a foreign country for 9 months can be calculated as one year, subject to entry and exit signatures).

For Nepalese students, the score requirement is 3/5

4.2 A clear scanned copy of the passport.

4.3 Notarized highest degree certificate or pre-graduation certificate.

4.4 Academic transcripts.

4.5 Fill in the self-introduction in the designated form. 8

4.6 Refer to the language requirements to provide the corresponding language proficiency certificate.

4.7 Certificate of no criminal record (to be issued for the past 5 months).

4.8 A scanned copy of the medical report.

It must be the original and notarized locally.

5. Application time

Scholarship application:

first round:

second round:

April 15, 2021, to May 15, 2021

Self-funded application:

November 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021

Priority will be given to scholarships for applications in advance.

6. Cost composition

Application fee: 600 yuan (non-refundable)

Chinese teaching: 20,000 yuan/year

Teaching in English: 22,000 yuan/year

Insurance premium: 800 yuan/year (mandatory option)

Dormitory fee: 7,200 yuan/year
