Ningxia University Library
Ningxia University Library was founded in 1958. In 1997 and 2002, the former Ningxia University, Ningxia Institute of technology, Yinchuan Teachers College (including Ningxia Institute of Education), and Ningxia Agricultural College merged to form a new Ningxia University, and the former four libraries merged into the library of Ningxia University. In August 2002, Yifu Library was opened to the public, which brought the library of Ningxia University to a new level from the external building to the internal scientific management.

3.Composition of the museum area
The library is composed of Yifu Library of Huaiyuan Campus (No.1 Library), Wencui Library of Wencui Campus (No.2 Library), and Jinfeng Library (No.3 Library), with a total area of 36000 square meters.

5.1 Documentary Collections
In recent years, the literature construction of the library has shown a gratifying momentum of development. As of December 2017, the school has a total of 1.85 million volumes of paper literature. Among them, the library has a collection of more than 1.4 million books, and each college has a collection of more than 450000 books. The library has a collection of nearly 50000 ancient books of past dynasties and rare books. Among them, two rare books, Han Shili and Xiangnan jing she Jinshiqi, have been selected into the national precious ancient books list. With the approval of the State Council, they have obtained the national precious ancient books certificate issued by the Ministry of culture. At present, the library is committed to the construction of the Department of ancient books, and actively promotes the protection, collation, and scientific utilization of ancient books.
5.2 Electronic document
In terms of the construction of electronic literature resources, our library has 87 databases, including CNKI, Wanfang knowledge platform, superstar reading show, superstar hundred chain cloud, superstar Chinese discovery system, Elsevier SD, Springer link, SCI, EI, dialog, more than 1.6 million e-books, and 17000 academic videos.
5.3 Special collection
Since 2008, our library has actively applied for the national rare ancient books protection project. Two rare books, Han Shili and Xiangnan jing she Jinshiqi, have been selected into the national precious ancient books list and obtained the certificate approved by the State Council and issued by the Ministry of culture.
6.1 management system
In 1999, the library introduced the salamis library management system of Shenzhen University. Based on completing the retrospective database construction of common Chinese and English books and periodicals, the library implemented a comprehensive open shelf service and an integrated computer circulation management system of collection, reading, and borrowing. In 2008, the computer management system of the library was updated to the Jiangsu Huiwen Library management system, and in 2013, it was updated and upgraded to further improve the work of book acquisition, editing, circulation, and borrowing. We have further improved the work of book acquisition, editing, circulation, and borrowing. The library has set up an electronic reading room in each campus to provide readers with retrieval and consulting services of electronic information such as network and CD-ROM. To strengthen user education, the library also offers literature retrieval and other courses and carries out entrance training for freshmen, to continuously improve users' information retrieval and utilization literacy, and effectively do a good job in reader service.
6.2 resource sharing
Our library attaches great importance to the sharing and exchange of literature resources and has successively carried out literature delivery / interlibrary loan and other business activities with the library of Shanghai JiaoTong University, the literature and information center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Library, and other units.
6.3 Social certification
In 2009, the number of documents delivered by our library through CASHL (China University Humanities and social sciences literature center) ranked the first among the University Libraries of five provinces in Northwest China and the seventh in China. In 2010, our library was rated as "the advanced group of public service in the whole district".
Our library is the unit where the Secretariat of Ningxia University Library Working Committee is located. In 2009, it successfully held the third founding meeting and the first working meeting of the University Library Working Committee of the Ministry of Education, and the second professional training class for University Librarians in Ningxia. In 2010, he hosted the northwest conference of CASHL. The series of lectures of "reading forum" sponsored by our library has produced strong repercussions among readers and received good results. In 2010, the CALIS (China Higher Education Document Guarantee System) management center of the Ministry of Education approved our library as CALIS Ningxia Autonomous Region document information service center. In 2010 and 2012, our library was rated as "the advanced collective of public service of Libraries in the whole region". In 2013, our library established a subject service team and trained several high-quality information specialists in some colleges to provide targeted professional services for key disciplines and major scientific research projects.
