Baixian Asia Future Leadership Scholarship

1. Project Description:

Peking University is an Asian Future Leader Scholarship Program (AFSP) One of the major universities.

At Baixian Institute of Asia (BXAI) Under the management, AFLSPProvide scholarships for high-quality students studying in Asia, and also provide a platform for students and educational institutions to cultivate lasting relationships based on mutual trust and understanding to build cultural bridges.

2015Baixian set up a period of3Annual scholarship program, annual award5Asian students from Yenching Academy of Peking University and5A Japanese student from another department of Peking University.

2. Application form:

2.1 Asian students from Yenching Academy of Peking University and Japanese students from other departments of Peking University

2.2 Proficient in English

2.3 Integrity and honesty, caring about understanding international and cross-cultural issues, enthusiastic about participating in voluntary service, and agreeing with Baixian’s mission and vision

2.4 Peking University full-time students who continue to study during the application period

3. Scholarship recipients must meet the following requirements:

3.1 Participate in the summer optimization project organized by Baixian

3.2 Participate in expansion projects and activities specified by other schools

3.3 Stay at Peking University Asian Youth Exchange Center for one year (only for Japanese students from other departments of Peking University)

4. Application process and time

4.1The applications of Yenching Academy students are integrated into the admission application and selection procedures.

4.2Application process and time for Japanese students from other faculties (Note: The application time may change according to the actual situation of the year, please refer to the online announcement of the International Students Office.):

● 5Monthly International Students Office will issue an application notice, and students will submit their applications according to the notice requirements;

● 5month-6The International Student Office for the first month of the month conducts a preliminary review and submits a list of preliminary review to Baixian (no more than12-15Students) and student information;

● 6At the end of the month, Baixians will determine the final review list and notify the school.

5. How to apply?

5.1 The applications of Yenching Academy students are integrated into the admission application and selection procedures.

5.2 Japanese students from other faculties submit applications to the Office of International Students. The specific application method is subject to the application notice issued in the same year.
