14. When studying at Shanghai Normal University, how do I apply for the "Registration Form for Temporary Accommodation for Foreign Residents" off-campus?

International students living off-campus should bring the rental contract to the school’s International Student Center to fill in the "Off-Campus Accommodation Registration Form" within 72 hours of check-in, and then bring their passports, rental contract and the "Off-Campus Accommodation Registration Form" to the police station where the residence belongs to obtain the "Temporary Foreign Personnel" Accommodation Registration Form.

 

15. When studying at Shanghai Normal University, what should I do if the passport number, the purpose of residence, address, school, etc. in the residence permit change?

Students should report the changes to the International Student Center of the school within one week, and after issuing relevant certificates, go through the change procedures at the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau. Those who have changed their address must provide the "Registration Form for Temporary Accommodation for Foreigners" of the new address.

 

16. What should I do if my passport is lost or damaged while studying at Shanghai Normal University?

After the passport is lost or damaged, the student should immediately go to the school’s International Student Center to issue a relevant certificate, and then go to the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau to obtain the "Passport Reporting Certificate", and then apply for a new passport from the home country's embassy or consulate in China.
