Hongkou campus

1. Curriculum 

1) Chinese language major (economics and trade, bilingual in Chinese and English)

2) International Economics and Trade (Chinese), Chinese International Education (Chinese)

 

2. Registration and school system

Registration time: Deadline on June 30, school starts in September. Four years of schooling

(The next semester of the first year of transfer will end on December 30, 2020)

Registration date: August 30~31, 2021

 

3. Eligibility for application

1) Have a high school diploma or above, and be over 18 years old and under 35 years old.

2) Foreigners who are in good health, have reliable financial payment guarantees and guardians.

3) If both or one of the parents is a Chinese citizen and resides in a foreign country, and I have a foreign nationality at birth, starting from 2021, students who apply to enter the undergraduate and junior college of our college as an international student unless they meet the school’s other registration qualifications, In addition, they should also hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for more than 4 years (inclusive), and have a record of actual residence in a foreign country for more than 2 years (one year) within the most recent 4 years (by April 30 of the enrollment year). The actual living in a foreign country for 9 months can be counted as one year. Residents of the mainland of the motherland (Mainland), Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan who have immigrated and obtained foreign nationality should also apply as international students to enter the undergraduate and junior college level of our colleges and universities. Meet the above requirements.

4) If you have ever studied or lived in China, you must not have any records of violations of laws and disciplines.

 

4. Admission requirements and entrance examination

Majors in Hongkou Campus (Examination-free admission for the first grade)

1) Chinese Language and Chinese International Education Major: ① HSK Level 4 (total score of 180 points) can apply for the first year; ② HSK Level 4 (total score of 195 points), and have completed one semester of Chinese language undergraduate courses in Chinese universities, Can apply for transfer to the second semester of the first grade; ③ HSK level 5 (total score of 180 points), and have completed more than one year of Chinese language undergraduate courses in a Chinese university, can apply for transfer to the second semester. ④ HSK level 5 (total score 210) and those who have completed more than two years of Chinese language undergraduate courses in Chinese universities can apply to transfer to the third grade.

2) International Economics and Trade (Chinese): ① HSK Level 4 (total score of 180 points) can apply for the first year; ② HSK Level 5 (total score of 180 points), and have completed more than one semester of economics undergraduate courses in a Chinese university, Can apply to transfer to the second semester of the first grade; ③ HSK level 6 (total score of 180) and have completed more than one year of economics undergraduate courses in a Chinese university can apply to transfer to the second semester.

★Students who apply for transfer to the second semester, second and third grade of the first grade need to take the transfer test organized by the International Cultural Exchange Institute (the second semester transfer test time for the first grade is: January 12, February 23, 2021, The third grade transfer test time is: July 6th, August 24th, 2021), 13:30 bring your passport and original HSK to the office 419 of Building 2, Hongkou campus to take the test. Those who pass the exam and have good grades in the previous university courses can enter the corresponding grade.

 

5. Application materials

Fill out the application form online at the admissions website (http://apply.shisu.edu.cn).

Please prepare the following materials in advance:

1) Graduation certificate, transcript (original or notarized, should be in Chinese or English), fresh graduates can provide the original proof of expected graduation.

2) Copy of HSK certificate.

3) Certificate of study experience in Chinese and related majors, original or notarized transcripts, in Chinese or English (only for transfer students).

4) Copy of passport.

5) If you graduate from high school in China, you need to provide a copy of your parent's passport.

6) Online payment of the registration fee of 450 yuan (or 75 US dollars for overseas remittances, upload the payment voucher).

★ When necessary, our school will require applicants to submit specified supplementary materials.

★The above materials and fees will not be refunded after submission or payment.

HSK level 5 or equivalent Chinese proficiency. Entrance examination subjects include Chinese, English, and mathematics. Students take the corresponding examinations according to the professional requirements. The exam is held in Shanghai on the last Saturday of May every year.

All majors need to be tested in English and Chinese

Mathematics is required for the following majors: Finance, International Economics and Trade, International Economics and Trade (Japanese), Data Science and Big Data Technology, Management Science and Engineering (including Information Management and Information System, Big Data Management and Application), Business Management (including business administration, public relations), accounting, linguistics

★Students cannot apply for a native language major.
