To further strengthen the study, publicity and implementation of the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, broadly strive for the support and understanding of China from the international community, and further enhance the confidence of countries in the world in China’s development prospects, the Publicity Department of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and the Education Working Committee of the Provincial Party Committee jointly Hosted a series of salon activities on the theme of "The Spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Enters Liaoning College International Students" On the afternoon of November 9, the first salon event was held in the multifunctional hall on the third floor of the International Education College of our school. Yang Jie, vice president of our school, Peng Xuegang, secretary of the Party branch directly under the School of International Education, and Wang Yanbiao, vice-minister of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee, attended the event. Nearly 60 representatives of international students and cadres from six universities including China Medical University, Shenyang Agricultural University, Shenyang Conservatory of Music, Shenyang Medical College, Shenyang University, and Shenyang Normal University participated in the event. The event was presided over by Li Hui, deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Publicity Department of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee.

Many international students are also very concerned about the Fifth Plenary Session. To help everyone better understand the main content of the Fifth Plenary Session, find out the important signals of China's development released by the Fifth Plenary Session, and help everyone better understand and understand China, a series of salon sharing activities are held. I hope you can speak with the speaker The guests fully communicated and interacted actively. At the same time, the development of the Chinese cultural bookshelf activities was introduced. It is hoped that the international students can learn more about Chinese traditional culture and the development of contemporary China by reading multilingual Chinese cultural books and feel the charm of Chinese culture.


For this salon event, Mr. Wu Yong, head of China Daily's Liaoning station, was invited as the guest speaker to give an English salon lecture on the theme of green development for the participating international students. Guided by the overall goals of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee, he focused on the concept and vision of China's green development, especially Liaoning's characteristic measures and practical experience in green development and ecological protection. After the lecture, Mr. Wu Yong interacted with the international students on the scene on how to find a balance between environmental protection and economic development, China’s economic development plans and experiences, and the role of education in revitalizing Northeast China.


During the event, Li Wenlong, Ding Hehua, Bai Shuqing, Qian Bowen, and Shu Mina from Thailand, Madagascar, Burundi and Pakistan performed the poem recitation "The God of War" together. Kang Wanying, a Canadian student from the Shenyang Conservatory of Music, performed the guzheng solo "The Desert". "Xing" expresses respect for China's anti-epidemic spirit and love for Chinese culture.
