A visit day for cultural activities was held
In October, the autumn breeze is cool. In this harvest season, in order to enrich the after-school life of our school’s international students and further deepen their understanding of traditional Chinese culture, the International Exchange Office of our school organized nearly 240 international students from more than 40 countries to participate in the theme activities of cultural visits in Jixian County.
On October 22, the international students visited the Huangyaguan Great Wall and learned about the history of the Great Wall repaired in the Ming Dynasty. When climbing, they all sighed about the majesty of the Great Wall. The students also learned about the folk customs of Ji County. Speaking of his thoughts about this cultural visit, Kazakh student TYNYBEK BAKTIYAR Baha said: "Thank you for this event organized by the National Exchange Office, which gave us the opportunity to get in touch with a more pristine local culture and participate in collective activities in a foreign country. I have gone homesick. I hope that the school can hold more colorful activities, which will become our beautiful memories during our study in China."
The International Exchange Office attaches great importance to the cultural activities of international students in China. Teachers in the Office of International Students conduct thorough research and careful planning before the activities, carefully organize and ensure safety during the activities, and use various cultural visits as an opportunity to tell Chinese stories to international students in China, and to increase mutual understanding.
