1. Project introduction

Foreign students and scholars who wish to study some courses at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences or engage in academic visits and research work can contact relevant research institutes/Colleges.

2. Application conditions

Applicants need to make sure that they meet the application requirements of this project, contact them by themselves, and get a tutor from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences to accept. Admissions tutor information can be inquired through the English website of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. After the applicant finds a tutor that matches his scientific research interests, he needs to send his resume, research plan, and other application-related materials to the tutor, and indicate in the email that he wants to apply for the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences Advanced Student Program.

(2) Applicant submits online admission application

Log in to the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences International Student Online Application System, fill in personal information according to the prompts, and upload the following personal materials:

• Scanned copy of personal information page of ordinary passport
• Two-inch recent photo without a hat

• Physical Examination Form for Foreigners (click to download)
• Final degree certificate
• Final academic transcript
• Proof of English or Chinese proficiency

3. Matters needing attention:

• All proofs and certificates uploaded must be original or notarized copies in Chinese or English. For documents in other languages, the original document and the notarized English or Chinese translation must be uploaded at the same time. Please use a scanner to scan and upload relevant documents in color. Documents taken by mobile phones or cameras are not accepted, and copies are not accepted.
• In the process of reviewing the uploaded application materials, the school may require some applicants to provide the original written version of the application materials/Notarized copies or certification documents issued by designated certification bodies for further inspection. Applicants should ensure that the application information and application materials provided are true and accurate, otherwise, the admission qualification will be canceled.
• If the application materials are incomplete or do not meet the requirements, the information filled in is incorrect and will not be accepted.
• Applicants must not apply to two colleges at the same time/The institute submits the application materials for admission, and cannot apply for two or more tutors at the same time.
• Please choose your study major and research direction carefully, and submit your application after communicating with your supervisor. After enrollment, the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences will not accept this type of change application.
• Applicants should not directly send paper application materials to the International Students Office of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Any application materials will not be returned.
• Those who apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship or the International Student Scholarship of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences can be exempted from paying the registration fee.
• Under any circumstances, the registration fee is non-refundable.
• Please prepare carefully. Generally, no amendments will be returned after applying.

5. Admission and admission

After the application materials are submitted, the relevant colleges/Review by the Institute's expert group. The embassy (consulate) shall apply for a study visa in China and register for enrollment according to the date and the designated place specified in the Admission Notice.

6. Fees and scholarships

(1) Expenses

Registration fee: RMB450Yuan or equivalent U.S. dollars or Euros. The application fee is non-refundable regardless of whether you are admitted or not.

General Scholar: RMB2,600yuan/people/month;

Senior Scholar: People RMB3,000yuan/people/month.

Comprehensive medical insurance premium for foreign students studying in China:

One-year period:800yuan/people; half a year:400yuan/people。

The outpatient and emergency medical expenses are paid by the insurance company according to the medical insurance scheme.

The expenses for food, accommodation, transportation, experiments, conferences and training outside the training plan are all paid by the people on demand.

(2) Scholarship

Chinese Government Scholarship

National University of Science and Technology is a Chinese Government Scholarship institution. Eligible applicants can apply for a Chinese Government Scholarship directly to the National Natural Science Foundation of China through the recommendation of relevant departments of their country and Chinese embassies and consulates abroad. The application time is generally the last year11Month to the current year4month. The deadline for applications varies from country to country, so please check in advance. If you need to provide the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences Pre-admission certificate when applying, please contact the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences International Students Office in advance.

International Student Scholarships of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (partial awards)
