Suzhou Project

 

Application form

1. The applicant must be a non-Chinese citizen holding a valid passport and in good physical and mental health.

2. Applicants for the master's program must have a degree equivalent to that of a Chinese bachelor's degree.

*Fresh students can first submit the pre-graduation certificate issued by their school to ensure they complete their studies and obtain a degree by July 2021.

3. Applicants should meet the admission criteria for international students of the University of Science and Technology of China.

 

Application Procedures

 

1. Online application

December 1, 2020-March 31, 2021

● There is no need to contact the tutor during the application process. The International College will send the application materials to the department responsible for the interview, and the department will contact the tutor for applicants who pass the online interview (provided that the online application must be completed)

● Please complete the application as soon as possible so that the school can review and promptly remind the applicant to correct or supplement relevant materials

2. Online interview

April or May

● Each department that accepts international students is responsible for conducting online interviews

● The department will contact the tutor for applicants who pass the online interview

Application materials

● Scanned copy of passport information page (ordinary passport, valid for more than one year)

● Resume

● Two recommendation letters issued by professors or associate professors (with phone number and email address)

Copy of "Foreigner Physical Examination Form" (click to download)

● Applicants participating in English-taught programs must provide valid copies of IELTS or TOEFL scores, or provide other proof of English proficiency (except applicants whose native language is English)

● Copies of certificates and transcripts of bachelor's degree and master's degree (if any) certified by the Ministry of Education or equivalent institutions in the country/region where the applicant is located.

*Applicants for fresh graduates must provide official documents to prove their status as college students and specify when they can obtain a degree certificate;

*Applicants who have graduated but have not yet obtained a degree certificate must provide official documents stating the reason and clearly when they can obtain the degree certificate;

*If the applicant is a current employee, he must provide a formal certificate of employment and a certificate of consent to leave the job for further study.

*If the materials are not in Chinese or English, a notarized translation in Chinese or English must be provided.

*Application materials will not be returned.

 

2. Online interview

Expert teams from relevant departments will review the online application materials and select candidates for online interviews based on the results of the review. The specific content, format, requirements and time arrangement of the online interview will be determined by each department and the applicant will be notified.

 

Admission

● The expert team will comprehensively evaluate the applicant's academic performance, interview results, qualification certificates and other related materials, and give the final admission result.

● Those who are admitted will receive the admission notice and the "Visa Application Form for Studying in China" (JW202). Candidates should bring their original passports, admission notice, Visa Application Form (JW202), Foreigner Physical Examination Form, and other original medical certificates to apply for a student visa (X1) at the Chinese embassy or consulate in their home country. visa).

● The admitted applicants should register at the University of Science and Technology of China on the date specified in the admission notice and the above documents. Candidates must enter China with ordinary passports and X1 visas.
