Country-specific Bilateral Program

To enhance the mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese people and the people of the world, and to develop exchanges and cooperation between China and other countries in various fields, the Chinese government has established scholarships to subsidize outstanding students, teachers, and scholars from all over the world to study or conduct research in Chinese universities. Disciplines cover science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, economics, law, management, education, history, literature, philosophy, art, etc.

 

Country-specific bilateral items

At present, our school is the receiving institution for Chinese government scholarship students, and the existing Chinese government scholarship is a country-specific bilateral project. The applicant applies to the international student dispatching department of the home country.

 

1. Funding category

Country-specific bilateral programs can enroll undergraduates, masters, doctoral students, general scholars, and senior scholars. For specific enrollment categories in each country, please consult the international student dispatching department of your country.

 

2. Language of instruction

The language of instruction for undergraduates studying in China under the Chinese Government Scholarship is Chinese. The teaching language of Chinese government scholarship graduates and advanced students studying in China is generally Chinese, and some schools can provide English teaching for some majors (for details, please visit

3. The funding period

4. Funding content

4.1 Full scholarship

4.1.1 Exempt from registration fee, tuition fee, experiment fee, internship fee, and basic textbook fee;

4.1.2 Provide free on-campus accommodation;

4.1.3 Provide scholarship living expenses, the standards are:

Undergraduate: 2,500 RMB/month

Master's degree students and general scholars: 3,000 RMB/month

Doctoral students and senior scholars: 3,500 RMB/month

Living expenses are paid by the school every month. Scholarship students who register before the 15th (including the 15th) of the month will receive a full month's living allowance; those who register after the 15th will get half a month's living allowance; the living expenses of graduates will be paid to the graduation day determined by the school For the next half month; if the scholarship student leaves China for more than 15 days due to personal reasons during the school period (except for normal holidays), the living allowance will be suspended during the period of absence.

4.2 Partial scholarship

One or more items in the full scholarship.

 

4.3 Application method and time

Applicants should apply to the international student dispatching department of their home country within the specified time. The application time is generally from early January to early April. For the specific application time, please check with the international student dispatching department of your home country.

 

5. Application conditions

5.1 Non-Chinese citizens, in good health;

5.2 Educational background and age requirements:

5.2.1 Those who come to China to study undergraduate majors must have a high school diploma, excellent grades, and be under the age of 25;

5.2.2 Those who come to China to study for a master's degree must have a bachelor's degree and be under the age of 35;

5.2.3 Those who come to China to study for a doctoral degree must have a master's degree and be under the age of 40;

5.2.4 As a general advanced student who comes to China to study, he must have a high school diploma or above, and he must be under the age of 45;

5.2.5 Those who come to China as senior advanced students must have a master's degree or above or associate professor or above, and be under the age of 50.

 

6. Application process

6.1 Apply to the international student dispatching department of your home country and obtain the qualification for recommendation;

6.2 Contact the scholarship institution and get the pre-admission notice issued by the school;

6.3 Login to the "CSC Online Application System for Studying in China"

and click the "Online Application Student Entrance" icon Enter), fill in and submit the application information online, and print the "Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form". The operating instructions of the "China Scholarship Council Online Application System for Studying in China" and the "Accepting Agency Number" can be consulted and obtained from the overseas student dispatching department of the country;

6.4 Submit the application materials to the international student dispatching department of your home country within the specified time.

Note: The China Scholarship Council does not accept direct applications from individuals. The China Scholarship Council reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to the institutions of applicants who have not received the pre-admission notice. Application materials (all in duplicate)

6.4.1 "Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form" (Chinese or English);

6.4.2 Notarized highest education certificate. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations. Students in school must submit a certificate of enrollment issued by their school;
6.4.3 Academic transcripts. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations;

6.4.4 Study or research plan in China. Write in Chinese or English. No less than 200 words for undergraduate students, no less than 500 words for advanced students, and no less than 800 words for graduate students;

6.4.5 Letter of recommendation. Applicants for master's and doctoral degrees and those who apply to study in China as advanced scholars must submit two letters of recommendation from professors or associate professors, written in Chinese or English;

6.4.6 Students applying for music majors must submit CDs of their own works; students applying for fine arts majors must provide 2 sketches, 2 color paintings, and 2 CDs of other works;

6.4.7 Applicants under the age of 18 must submit relevant legal documents of their legal guardian in China;

6.4.8 Applicants who have studied in China for more than 6 months must submit a copy of the "Foreigner Physical Examination Form" (the original is kept by yourself, this form is uniformly printed by the Chinese Health and Quarantine Department, and you can log on to the CSC website

fill in English). Applicants should strictly follow the items required in the "Physical Examination Form for Foreigners" to conduct inspections. The "Foreigner Physical Examination Form" that is missing, does not have a photo of the person affixed, or the photo is not stamped with a seam seal, is not signed and stamped by the doctor and the hospital is invalid. Because the examination result is valid for 6 months, the applicant is requested to determine the time for the physical examination accordingly;

6.4.9If you have obtained the pre-admission notice from the scholarship institution, please attach a copy of the admission notice to the application materials;

6.4.10 If you have obtained the HSK score report, please attach a copy to the application materials.

Please bind the above materials into a book (two volumes in one type) in the upper left corner in the order mentioned above. No matter whether you are admitted or not, the application materials will not be returned.

 

7. Admission and notification

7.1 The China Scholarship Council reviews whether scholarship applicants meet the application requirements. Applicants who do not meet the requirements or application materials that do not meet the requirements will not be accepted;

7.2 The China Scholarship Council will forward the approved application materials to the relevant schools for admission. The China Scholarship Council reserves the right to make appropriate adjustments to the schools, majors, funding categories, scholarship durations, etc. selected by the applicants according to the scholarship funding requirements of various countries, the acceptance capabilities of the scholarship institutions, the professional academic system requirements and the applicant's conditions, etc. The admission result is determined by the school. For the application materials with the pre-admission notice of the school, the China Scholarship Council will directly send the pre-admission college to confirm the admission;

7.3 Applicants who have been admitted by the scholarship institution can receive the Chinese government scholarship to study in China after being approved by the China Scholarship Council. Each scholarship recipient can only receive funding from one Chinese government scholarship program;

7.4 The China Scholarship Council will send the "Admission List", "Admission Notice" and "Visa Application Form for Studying in China" (JW201 Form) to the Chinese Embassy (or Consulate General) in the host country before July 31. , Which shall be transferred to the international student dispatching department or the student himself;

7.6 Scholarship recipients are not allowed to change the admission institution, major of study, and study period stated in the "Admission Notice" after coming to China;

7.7 Scholarship qualifications will not be reserved for those who cannot come to China to study within the time limit for admission.
