1. Application qualification and submission

(1) Basic requirements

1.1 Applicants should be physically and mentally healthy, have no previous history of infectious diseases and mental diseases, have complete study and work experience in their own country, have good conduct, and have no criminal record. Willing to understand Chinese history and culture, abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the rules and regulations of the school, and respect the customs of the Chinese people.

1.2 Education and age requirements

1.3 No more than 40 years old, complete learning experience from primary school to master's degree, master's degree or equivalent, bachelor's degree, and graduation certificate certified by the Ministry of Education of the people's Republic of China.

1.4 Language proficiency requirements

1.4.1 Chinese teaching, new HSK grade 4 or above, ask score (intermediate or above) within the validity period.

A: Master of Chinese international education has reached HSK level 6;

B: The other majors have reached HSK level 5.

1.4.2 Teaching in English

The applicant shall meet one of the conditions 1-3 and conditions 4.

A: The applicant's native language is English or the official language is English;

B: The highest degree obtained is English teaching program;

C: Pass the International English test: IELTS Academic 6.0 points, single-subject no less than 5.5 points; TOEFL 85 points, single-subject no less than 20 points, or equivalent level; GRE score no less than 300 points; multi neighbor score more than 95 points.

D: Those who have passed the English test after registration.

Doctoral candidates should have at least HSK Level 3 in Chinese.

 

(2) Qualification examination

2.1. The applicant must be a non-Chinese citizen with a valid foreign passport.

2.2. Chinese citizens who apply to study in China as foreign students after immigrating to foreign countries must hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for more than 4 years (inclusive) and have a record of actually living abroad for more than 2 years in the latest four years (up to April 30 of the year of enrollment). If they have actually lived abroad for more than 9 months in a year, they can be counted as one year, and the entry and exit signatures are taken as the basis Accurate).

2.3 Applicants can enter the admission process only after their relevant information is verified and confirmed by the exit-entry management detachment of Qinhuangdao Public Security Bureau.

 

(3) Materials required

3.1 Online registration system http://admission.ysu.edu.cucas.cn Fill in the application information (with photos) and generate the application form with a complete and continuous description from junior high school to the highest education level and work experience;

3.2 Record of physical examination for foreigners (the date of the physical examination shall not exceed 6 months at the time of admission);

3.3 A copy of the passport (photo page), which cannot be replaced from the time of application to the time of obtaining the visa;

3.4 A copy of the certificate of study or Diploma (a notarized Chinese or English translation is required for the non-Chinese and English versions);

3.5 A copy of the master's degree transcript (a notarized Chinese or English translation is required for the non-Chinese and English versions);

3.6 A copy of the language proficiency certificate; (a copy of the new hsk4 certificate within the validity period shall be provided when applying for Chinese teaching, and a copy of the English proficiency certificate shall be provided when applying for English teaching);

3.7 Personal statement;

3.8 Letters of recommendation from two professors (with the title of deputy senior or above);

3.9 Certificate of no criminal record (required for nonschool students). If the period of validity is not indicated, it shall be effectively mastered within 6 months; if the period of validity is indicated, the materials shall prevail; if the period of validity is indicated, the certificate of academic performance shall be provided by the students as the certificate of no criminal record);

3.10 Proof of personal bank funds (more than US $5000, if it is guaranteed by parents, proof of the relationship between parents and students is required; those who meet the requirements of scholarship application are not required to provide it);

3.11 The registration fee is 800 yuan (at the same time, the scanned copy of the bank receipt should be uploaded to our application system).

 

2. Application method

(1) Log in to the online registration system of the School of international education, Yanshan University http://admission.ysu.edu.cucas.cn, complete the online application and upload the original HD scanning version of the application materials, and do not accept photos and copies. Applicants should also mail two complete paper application materials to the School of international education, Yanshan University (West Campus), No. 438, west section of Hebei Street, Haigang District, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, China 066004, Mr. Feng, 0335-8095518.

(2) Pay the registration fee and upload the scanned bank receipt to our application system.

(3) The admission time of degree students in the autumn semester (generally September). If the information filled in is not accurate and the data uploaded is incomplete, the application will be returned or the subsequent application approval will be affected, and all consequences will be borne by oneself.

4. Fees and refund policy

(1) Charging items and standards

The school collects tuition and accommodation fees by the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education and the standards approved by the Hebei Provincial Price Management Department. All fees are denominated in RMB.

(2) Fees and refund policy

The school collects tuition and accommodation fees by the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education and the standards approved by the Hebei Provincial Price Management Department. All fees are denominated in RMB.

Comply with the relevant provisions of the drop-out students, the school can be made to refund the application, after examination and approval, the school will follow the reasonable and appropriate principles, should refund all or part of the tuition fees, and promptly handle the withdrawal procedures. The fees involved are based on the actual tuition paid during the semester and academic year and are priced in RMB. The specific refund standards shall be implemented by the "Interim Regulations on Refunds for International Students of Yanshan University".

 

5. Training methods

(1) School system

1.1 International students in China adopt a flexible academic system.

1.2 The standard academic system for international students pursuing a doctorate is 4 years, and the maximum academic period is 6 years (including suspension of studies ).

1.3 International students are exempted from paying tuition during the period of suspension of school and military service.

 

(2) Academic study

2.1 Our school implements a credit system for teaching. International students should study by the training plan prescribed by the school. Except for individual group-based projects, in principle, they will be in the same class with Chinese students of the same major.

2.2 Postgraduates studying for a doctorate should study the prescribed courses and complete their dissertations under the guidance of their supervisors according to the postgraduate training plan drawn up at the time of admission.

2.3 Graduation and degree award

2.3.1 Doctoral students who complete the training program within the specified time and those who pass the examination results and thesis defense will be awarded a graduation certificate.

2.3.2 According to the "Regulations on Degrees of the People's Republic of China", a bachelor's degree will be awarded to qualified graduates studying in China.

 

6. Change of student status

International students who apply for suspension, transfer, withdrawal, change of study major, change of student category, an extension of the study period, and early completion of studies should apply to their college and the School of International Education, and go through the relevant procedures after approval.
