Hebei Provincial Government Scholarship

The government of Hebei Province grants scholarships to foreign students studying in Colleges and universities of Hebei Province. Undergraduate, master, and doctoral students can apply for the scholarship. This scholarship is not for foreign students who have won the scholarship from the Chinese government, Confucius Institute, and the scholarship from the sending country. The applicants must be non-Chinese, in good health, with excellent academic performance and good conduct. This scholarship is evaluated once a year. It adheres to the principles of fairness, impartiality, openness, preference, and standardization. It is used to subsidize the tuition and living expenses of outstanding foreign students during their study in school.

1. Scholarship application conditions

1.1 The applicant must be in good health, have foreign nationality and hold a foreign passport.

1.2 The applicants must be foreign students who are studying for bachelor's, master's, and doctor's degrees in public universities directly under the Provincial Department of education and who have long studied for nonacademic education.

1.3 Applicants should be good to Chinese friends, have excellent academic performance, abide by Chinese laws, social ethics, and school rules, and have good comprehensive quality and moral level.

2. Scholarship criteria

The Hebei provincial government awards scholarships to international students. The scholarship criteria are as follows:

Undergraduate: RMB 5000 / year

Postgraduate: RMB 15000 / year

Doctoral candidate: RMB 20000 / year
